I’m interested in hearing this. I predict wackness if Twiztid does anything besides rap magnificently. Recognize why your core audience at your peak loved you! It wasn’t because of the ‘People Are Strange’ cover either.

MSI have confirmed that this is Duran Duran – I think I will pass on it. Twiztid have been going in an awkward direction and it just isnt what I knew and loved about their original style.

    PanickinMannequin, speak for yourself.

I loved that they combined different genres and musical ideas.

Why I find it weird when people are pretending it’s new when they’ve done this shit their whole entire career.

Have you heard the original? What Twiztid did was make a unbelievably horrible version of an unbelievably incredible song. They stepped out of their musical boundaries on that one. Stick to rapping over drum machines.

Again, I gotta agree with Lucem. Not only do I LOVE what Twiztid is doing right now, but also it’s not like it came out of left field & they haven’t been experimenting with metal their entire career…because they have. IMO They’ve just now gotten good enough at it to truly sound genuinely comparable to actual bands. Twiztid has expanded their horizons, not switched lanes in any way. I’m looking forward to this, even if it will probably be kinda silly.

Twiztid switched a lane when they started performing with a gay ass drummer on stage, they switched another lane when they started referring to themselves as a “rock band” instead of rappers, they switched lanes when they decided they want to go mainstream like the couple of sold out bitch boys that they are.

If they wanted to go mainstream they failed. Especially in adopting a sound from 10 years ago. I think this is a genuine passion thing. Something they want to do rather than selling out. Doesn’t matter to me what the intent is, though. I enjoy it and like it much more than most of the poppy metalcore bands they’ve been drawing inspiration from.

They’re still very much in the process of trying to go mainstream. Not saying they don’t have passion, they clearly do. Twiztid are fully capable of thinking of their own original ideas for supergroups etc thats why it’s a shame they keep going back to the Psychopathic well to push a product and make a buck. They should build their own empire off their own ideas. But they don’t and choose to publicly suck dick instead, oh well.

Eh I use to like MSI when I was like 18. 32 now and my taste has differed a little. I’ll give this new shit a listen. Looking forward to that new “rydas” though…that’s some of the best mne shit I’ve heard since they started the label. I don’t give a fuck if they stole the idea, it’s new music that I like… psychopathic ain’t doing shit with anything anyways. Should just rename the label to icp records.

I’ll be interested in hearing this cover. While people are strange wasn’t in the top tracks on that album it was pretty solid. They’re cover of Joker was pretty dam good probably the best song on that album. Like it was said above I like it when they mix genres. All in all rather it’s them or ICP they do a pretty good job at cover songs.

If Twiztid were attempting to go mainstream shouldn’t they be adopting a modern mainstream sound? Or are they trying to go mainstream 10 years ago and have built a time machine?

The only person on twiztids dick harder than a condom is milkey sinter. That dude stays riding Paul’s balls. Why don’t you take a break and let someone else ride?

Chops – I don’t know what gay ass sound they’re adopting but they’ve outright said themselves they’re trying to go mainstream, so you can’t deny what I’m saying chops, if you listen to Magic Spells and can’t hear that they specifically made that song for mainstream radio then you’re just not too bright.

Also chops let me explain something to you…
Mikeysinder: Twiztid are trying to go mainstream and are fake as fuck.
Chops: No they’re not! They’re not fake!! Twiztid can do no wrong!! And I love it when they make gay emo music!!!

In this scenario you are the one riding that Twiztid dick…..you…..dumb…..fuck. lol.

I’ve been on twiztids dick since 98. Icp’s since 97. What the fuck else would I be doing on this website? Twiztid just wanna be successful and I believe they are making the music they want to make. But why would I argue with a goddamn certified Twiztid expert? If anyone knows their agenda it would be you. Monoxide seems like the kinda guy that pillow talks a lot. I’m sure you hear all the gossip.

Does little Chops wanna ride on that twizzler dick? Go right ahead little fella. Twiztid been successful, for decades, they greedy and want some mainstream dick in they mouth.
So you know what kinda guys like pillow talk do you? I gotta say that’s super gay of you hahaha. Also it’s not gossip if it’s true you dumb fuck, Twiztid wanna be mainstream, facts.

Chops, some people think they’re doing trap music because the album is full of 808 drums. Which is weird. I guess it’s a modern trend because tons of genres are adopting the 808 drum sounds but if they really were trying to be trendy they’d full on do mumble rap. Closest thing is Skit 17 and that’s still much more pop punk emo from last decade. Well, Lil Peep borrowed heavily from that sound too, but Twiztid have been trying this sound for a while. I think it’s everything they wanted Mutant to be but Mutant kind of sucked.

I’m sure they do want to be mainstream and are trying to go mainstream though. Almost every artist is.

My old ass vaguely remembers that Twiztid did mention that they were going to do Duran Duran way back on Cryptic Collection 3 in the last track….unless my memory has gotten worse. I think that was back in 2004.

That I did not know, especially the collaboration with them….but I did find that Cryptic Collection 3 CD I had and they did say they were going to do Duran Duran on the track Wrong Wit Me around the 10:10 mark, on their next album…..over a decade later, I guess they finally did, lol. Of course, I could have just looked that up on YouTube or something like that but I’m old school and still have my Discman from high school, haha.

Lol that’s a famous movie you retard, And it’s used as a double entendre, it’s not an idea that a former friend and label mate thought of and he’s just ripping it off, you know Twiztid made an album called Independance Day? You don’t hear me complain about that because it relates to the theme of that album and they didn’t steal the idea from a former friend. Also you douchebags use the term “daddy J” way too much, makes you sound like a total faggot lol.

I like the rock style shit Twiztid puts out. The o.g. Mutant was dope and I remember Madrox saying he was actually into the Post Hardcore genre. Not my preferred cup of tea, but the Punk Rock vibe about of Mutant was dope. Dirty and gritty. I’m a big Metal fan as well, and I think the direction they are taking their music will be dope, if they do it right. I only wish that they’d speak positively and more in depth about Juggalos, and dont shy away or hold back in interviews either. The heavy shit with Davey Suicide’s band that just came out is fresh af, and since Twiztid shares the same band mates, I’d expect to hear the heavier stuff, if it is rock themed. Tech N9ne has found a way to do it, I’m sure Twiztid can do as good in their own way. I dont agree with everything they do or say, I just want to see Juggalos as a whole get the respect they deserve and listen to good music.
