It’s actually an EP. He stated in a recent interview that he has 3 EP’s dropping this year and that all 3 will be put together with some extra tracks to form the LP.

Just simply going by Sev’s spotify link. Severance is listed under his albums and away from his EP list. Generally an EP is 5 to 6 songs or less.
