A UK publication called Far Out Magazine just released an article listing the Top 10 Greatest Horrorcore Artists of All Time.  Not surprisingly, a bunch of the artists that we cover here have made the list!

As the title states, the Insane Clown Posse, Twiztid, Tech N9ne, and more made it to the list!  How did they rank? Well *SPOILER ALERT*, here’s how it boils down:

10. Insane Poetry
09. KidCrusher
08. Bone Thugs N Harmony
07. Kool Keith
06. Kung Fu Vampire
05. Tech N9ne
04. Geto Boys
03. Insane Clown Posse
02. Twiztid
01. (Tie) Flatlinerz / Esham

The journalist Mike Milenko gives a description of these artists and a reason for their ranking.  Check the full article here: https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/10-greatest-horrorcore-artists-of-all-time/

Person who wrote this crap is a twizzler and a bit of a douche aswell. Listen to this crap..
“(Twiztid) have gone on to not only better replicate but succeed ICP’s legacy altogether.”
Listen here twizzler, Twiztid haven’t even come close to “replicating” ICPs legacy, don’t be rediculius. Twiztid have just started to build a legacy for themselves while ICPs legacy is going on 30 years strong, Twiztid have decades to go before their lame ass legacy can even be compared to ICPs, what is this douchebag twizzler thinking? Twiztids legacy is built on back stabbing and fake shit, ICPs legacy is built on juggalo shit.

“Their label: Majik Ninja Entertainment has one of the best artist line ups since Psychopathic’s glory days.”
LOL you’ve got to be kidding? First off the only good artists on Twiztids label are artists that Violent J found built up and made popular, Twiztid found a corny pip squeak named Gmo, Gorilla Voltage who left the label, ROC who ain’t doing shit, and LARS, fucking LARS? has anyone heard that garbage? You wanna compare all that trash to Psys roster? LOL what a joke.

“stil they remain unchallenged at the top.”
Lol yeaaaaah Twiztid aren’t at the top ya twizzler, why do twizzlers keep spouting this rediculius bullshit, all you have to do it look at show attendance, ICPs shows are constantly packed while twiztid struggles playing to 9 people in the crowd. Not to mention ICPs whole audience is undoubtedly larger than Twiztids. Twizzler ain’t at the top you deluded douche.

The fact Playboy the Beast didn’t make this list shows that the list creator isn’t really that familiar with horrorcore.

SCUM should be on this list. Liquid Assassin too, though he’s loosely associated with horrorcore. Lokey should definitely made this list too.

I’d like to know how they came up with this list.

After The Flatlinerz it should go ICP, Esham then Twiztid, but that’s just me. But yeah, can’t really say I 100% agree with this, but at least it’s showing some love, I guess.

Flatlinerz do legit have 2-3 albums. Idk if they’re #1 but the argument could be made. Gordy should be up there.

Esham is the #1 horrorcore rapper and in my opinion that shouldn’t even be a discussion. Never considered ICP or Twiztid horrorcore.

I, as a juggalo, cannot believe that they think esham is better than icp. Also, isn’t esham acid rap. Definitely a different sound. Also, i being a “twizzler”, don’t understand how twiztid is better than icp. I agree with the majority here and think that this guy’s logic is severely flawed.

haha dope! should have been an un-numbered list but whatever. Esham on the top is all that matters, should have said Esham/Natas though.

    yeah this list is biased
I agree with Esham in the top spot he basically created the sound
but ICP should be one above Twiztid
and Necro should be on the list near the bottom but he should be on it
and Brother Lynch Hung should have Tech N9ne’s spot

King Gordy has to be on this list. Its just some dudes opinion though, no need to get upset. I laughed my ass off reading this because I knew the salty bitches would have a hissy fit when they saw Twiztid on there above Icp XD. They dont have the world building that Icp does but they can tell a horror story just as well as the rest of them and Flow much better than most of an on that list.

Still, for me Gordy takes the cake. His timing and Flow are just smooth as fuck and im hardly ever disappointed by his shit.

How dare this man have his own opinion! Let’s all make disparaging comments about him and his list. Esham does deserve the top spot though for being the father of Acid Rap and being the most influential rapper to come from the D. With no Esham there’s no ICP and with no ICP there’s no Twiztid, Blaze, Abk, Boondox, AMB, Hoodoo, etc.

ICP would be number 2 for being just as influential in the underground and the amount of rappers they’ve put on. Even though I do believe Twiztid are the more superior emcee’s and lyricists.

I’d have House of Krazees in the number 3 spot because they were quite big in Detroit back in the day and they had quite a few albums under their belt before they split.

There’s nothing wrong with liking Twiztids music more than ICPs, but that’s not that this douchebag wrote, this douche tried to claim some rediculius bullshit like “Twiztid have replicated ICPs legacy”…..first of all what the fuck does that even mean? Second of all how about nooooooooo, Twiztid has decades of running a label before you can compare their weak ass legacy to ICPs.
Mike Milenko needs to recognise that.
