OH! THE HORROR Signs to MNE’s “Welcome To the Underground” Label!

It has just been announced that the group OH! The Horror has been added to the official roster of Majik Ninja Entertainment!  For those of you who aren’t familiar, you may have seen them on the recent Net Fest On Your Couch event.   They also went out on the Generation Nightmare Tour with Twiztid before Covid made the world fall apart.

While they are a definite departure from what you’d expect from MNE, they are definitely horror-infused (hence the name).  For those of you who are into rock/metal, they might be a good fit for your playlists.

First, check out the announcement from just minutes ago:

If you missed their set from Net Fest On Your Couch, you can see it at This Link.

MNE has also wasted no time getting their upcoming album, Halloween 365 up for pre-order.  It’s scheduled to drop July 31st!  You have 2 options: CD only ($9.99), or CD + T-shirt ($29.99).  Click the pic below to pre-order!

Click for pre-order options at MNEstore.com!

Just to add a little bit of flavor to the post, here are some recent videos from OTH to get you a little more familiar with them:

Well you can add this cringe to the cringe list that is Mne. I like how MNE is all “welcome to the underground, yeah we’re underground around here” while at the same time trying their very hardest to go mainstream, Mne is just sad.

How is this mainstream exactly? 32K views on the more popular of the 2 videos is mainstream status now? Also Ron Jeremy is in Big Money Hustlas, so I don’t know that MNE is his only connection to the juggalo community. But good try.

Bonesaw I didn’t say THIS was mainstream, I just mean in general Mne is trying to go mainstream, but at the same time they tryna front like “yeah we’re underground”. Yeah you’re really underground Mne, that’s why you have a pop culture convention lol.
And Jeremy was in Rustlas fool get it right, I’m well aware Psys done things with him years back, that was until Psy found out what a creep he was and kicked him out of all future Psy events, that’s why Ron Jeremy is an Mne boy now. He don’t rep the hatchet, Jeremy just reps that gay Mne ninja. And Mne is not a connection to the Juggalo community, Mne lost that when they refused to March for the Juggalos, they aren’t juggalo, Mne just use juggalos as a demographic to push their crap. Sure they have a few misguided juggalos who still support them but that doesn’t make Mne Juggalo, because it’s not. Jamie and Paul would play the skin flute to be radio stars, and if they did watch how fast they would forget about juggalos.

Twiztid says they love and rep Juggalos, right? Ok now, I’m literally not trying to stir the pot or start shit, but rewatching Twiztid’s performance on NetFest, during “We Don’t Die” they both go silent when the line comes up and don’t say “Juggalo”, second, when the line, “We do it all for yall, I mean that shit”, you can hear Paul say something that sounds like “Sike”. It would make be believe at this point they don’t care about the Juggalo fanbase as a whole, just the ones that still fuck with them, but even then wouldn’t Twiztid saying “sike” during the line “….I mean that shit” be as bad as everyone (including Twiztid) saying “why would ICP say “We’re not sorry if we tricked you. Why would you have to trick your fans”” and all that other static. I mean if you do it for the Juggalos, you claim to be Juggalos, and you love them, why would you do and say that?

Pretty sure they’re still juggalos. I know you would never go to one of their shows, but it’s the same people that ICP gets (I say ICP because none of their other artists do their own shows) except it’s smaller. I’ll give you a second to wipe up the cum from me sayin the shows are smaller……………….ok. But yea, it’s essentially the same fans. It’s just nos as big of a group because they do now and have always played second fiddle to a group that intentionally tries to alienate people to be able to consider themselves the most hated band ever with a dedicated fanbase. So ask yourself this, are fans of that that are also fans of this even MORE dedicated? Maybe. But you’d never admit that. “Fans” like you are the reason why conventions get cancelled.

For your other argument, so would ICP. It’s not really a secret. During AJB they got Snoop and ODB to do features. That’s not trying to get mainstream attention to you? Ok then.

I can’t see me ever getting into this… Are MNE trying to go down the “Hatchet House” route? I don’t think I need to point out how much of a giant waste of time/money/resources that was for Psy….

I think the “welcome to the underground ” is more of a project than a sub label. Most of the music is rereleases from current mne artists that produced albums before they were mne acts. Mikey, there are juggalos out there like myself that are still fans of twiztid/mne. I don’t think that makes me any less of a juggalo. I am quick to make the point that if someone fucks up, then they should be held accountable. I am a fan before i push a political agenda. I also remember voting back in the day for icp to be on mtv’s total request live. Icp at one point was also the most underground mainstream act I’ve ever seen.

Yes BoydieBoy here just made me realise that Mne has copied another Psychopathic business idea, Psychopathic started Hatchet House for less popular acts to rise through the ranks and prove themselves, and now Mne has copied them by making their own sublabel for the same purpose. Also FaygoLuvers says their signed to the sublabel in the headline title of the post then in the post says their part of the Mne official roster, WRONG! GET IT RIGHT FAYGOLUVERS.

Bonesaw I’m not even sure what your on about but that thing you said about wiping up cum is pretty gay, like that was on your mind while you were typing your comment?…..okayyyyy.
ICP purposely alienates people?? You can go fuck yourself for saying that, ICP created a community out of nothing that ANYBODY is welcome to join, that’s not alienating people you fucking idiot.
“Fans like me are the reason conventions get cancelled”…..what the FUCK are you even talking about you crack head, you just making random shit up? How bout you back that point up with something because I don’t what the fuck your talking about. ICP had their bout with mainstream success then they realised industry is hoes and bailed to do their own thing. Again you can fuck off for saying ICP try to alienate people, fuck outta here.

With the way Twiztid/MNE has gone recently that doesn’t surprise me that they signed with the label. I can already see Twiztid and OTH forming a group or OTH becoming what The Wickedness once was, and to be honest I don’t see this panning out and becoming nothing more than just trying to bring in more exposure for them, which is fine I don’t have a problem with that.
