    Say what you will, but when PSY really started picking up steam and became a phenom, was when shit like Dark Lotus and Rydas came about…. Around the same era as BMH…. Twiztid were fucking VITAL to those projects, regardless of how you feel about them…. Twiztid may not have gone platinum, or sold the numbers the Clownz have, but, they brought in A LOT if revenue to Psy… they were a Juggalo favorite and had a massive following…. Psy may have made it without them, but not to the level they achieved….

    As for their content now, I dig their rock shit…. I listen to many genres of music outside of Psy and MNE, so it isn’t a turn off to me…. they’re evolving their sound, which is something they didn’t really get to do on Psy…. J was always great at telling a story, but Twiztid were always more heartfelt with their shit…. and yes, FAR superior at emceeing….

    Honestly, imo, I’m not sure it’s fair to compare icp and twz like that. They have 2 completely diff styles and rhymes schemes and cadances. And I hate when ppl try using sales figures for a metric of talent, but icp and twz had access to the same audience/fanbase and icp still out sold twz by large margins and accomplished goals that twz hasn’t reached yet. That being said w the part where they had access to the same fans more ppl still considered icps music over all better hence more sales

    ICP were/are a more known and controversial act (the Hollywood fiasco really helped them out in that sense…. not to mention their stints in WWF and WCW), whereas Twiztid never had that kind of attention…. so you have people that have no real interest in the Juggalo world buying ICP cds for the shock value of it all (“have you ever heard that song ‘The Dating Game’?” Is a question I STILL get asked to this day)…. and them being incomparable in musical styles is accurate and kind of what I was trying to get across…. J is great at story concepts, whereas Twiztid just kind of flow…. but Twiztid have always leaned toward a deeper song writing angle than a full on concept album…. I hate arguing on this shit because I’m defending Twiztid so much, it makes it seem like I’m anti-ICP…. I always defend Twiztid when people who used to like them now hate on them for whatever reason they choose and when I say Twiztid are superior emcees I kinda hate to admit that because it seems like I’m throwing shade at ICP when I have nothing but love for them too. I believe J is the best storyteller ever and ICP are the underground kings for all that they have done but I think its just plain to see that Twiztid have evolved a lot more over the years as emcees and lyricists.

    Yo muffiinmessaiah that is some real shit that can’t be argued, and on real shit I took that into consideration before I made that comment (the part you said about icp already being established) but as beloved as twz were, feels like they should be closer to similar goals and milestones to icp than they are. That’s just me tho. And as far as twizitids talent lyrically etc etc, it’s funny bc to me, currently twz are the best rappers they have ever been, BUT now their over all music, and sound has been terrible imo. They sound like they want to cater to anybody who will listen, and while I don’t have a problem w that, it’s just that musicly they sound like they don’t know which direction they want to go.

In any case ICP handed Twiztid a fanbase, which is one of the hardest things to create, Twiztid wouldn’t be shit without ICP, ICP would be just fine without any Twiztid.

    Muffinmessiah I never take anyone’s word as a certified fact u presumptuous whore. I listen to what J has to say, and what Shaggy has to say, and what Jump has to say, and it all makes too much sense, before ICP came out with the truth I had this feeling for the previous few years that things between ICP and Twiztid were off in some way, then years later ICP and Jumpsteady reveal it all, which I appreciate, instead of letting speculation run high they just come out with truth, Twiztid have been fuckin them over and acting all buddy buddy to their faces, I’m glad the truth is out now. I would also listen to Twiztid if they had some sort of defense to state or anything at all but they remain tight lipped on the issue, I can tell Twiztid have grown into dishonest back stabbers, Its very obvious. And don’t tell me I never gave them the benefit of the doubt fuck head, I gave them the benefit of the doubt for YEARS until ICP revealed the truth of the situation.
    Also if that’s what you think about someone sporting a hatchetman on their products then u really are a fucking idiot, it didn’t have to be on the cover or the back, it could have been inside the booklet or some thing and have It next to the Mne logo, it was an idea to show unity between the labels and that there’s still love, but Twiztid were like nah. I don’t really give a fuk about the logo thing but it is interesting still.
    No One was even talking about the name of their label, but I agree with u it is a gay label name. But since u brought it up, u say Magic Magic Ninjas What was coined by twiztid….this is true, but who wrote the original line? Who’s idea was it to be saying Magic Ninjas in the first place……JOE BRUCE that’s who, that’s right even Twiztids label name when “trying to do their own thing” was taking directly from soemthin Vioent J wrote LMFAO.
    I never said Twiztid didn’t contribute to things like DL or BMH but if they were never signed Joe just would have found other talented musicians to be signed, meaning Psy would have been just fine without Twiztid, and Twiztid without what ICP did for them would be pushing a couple of mops.
