The free exclusive CD part is dope. THATS the kinda shit icp should be doing and have done (not getting into who did it 1st shit just pointing it out). I mean this when I say this, hope the CD is atleast shit that hasn’t been heard before. Also them doing attack of the sword swoll….I mean ninjas right after asstronomicon while the gathering will still be going on is interesting. CPN said he hopes psy scheduled the gathering bout same time as asstro to be petty, but he thinks in reality it’s the best date they could get. Idk how I feel on that 1. BUT just being honest here, I can confidently say I feel this was some petty shit on majik ninjas part, bc this is coming down after pay announced the gathering. But let’s be honest here the real juggalos gonna gather lol I really don’t know is pay was being petty or not but this does fell petty to me. Luckily it does not affect me lol

MNE schedules their events a year to 6 months in advance just an FYI. Psychopathic just recently got their gathering date and location finalized just before the announcement. To think MNE just threw this show together over the last 2 weeks is illogical and actually straight up stupid.

Yeah bc MNE are the only ones that plan ahead, nobody else in the industry does that. Who woulda thunk it? No but they announced the astranomicon dates weeks before Psychopathic announced that they were gonna have the gathering. MNE announced these dates a long time before Psychopathic announced that the gathering was on. This is coming from me. I’m a guy who doesn’t give a fuck about this gay beef. Absolutely no idea, if I’m honest. All I know is they announced that convention thing before they announced the gathering. I don’t care enough to look deeper into it. If the information comes to me then I’ll pay attention but I don’t generally dig for info on stuff like this. Thing is; if someone has paid for astranomicon and isn’t going to the gathering, this attack of the ninjas shit is good for those people. They get a whole extra couple of days of shit they love, to attend. I’m sure non of these events will struggle to get attendance figures.

I remember astro getting announced and then the gathering and now attack and that’s what I’m going by. But you’re also right in the fact that ppl got more shit to do that they want to do, and it may not be for me or everybody but more for them, nothing wrong w that either.

I understand I’m vocal anti twz, but I didnt mention their beef. I also understand that probably goes w out saying (that they have beef) What I’m trying to get at, and I’m sure I’m not alone is this, its just strange as hell to a degree that theyre both holding their biggest events of the yr at the same time. Mne announced their shit 1st, w their 1st event asstro. I never once denied that or took that away from them. Then the gathering got announced, and it’s mostly same days. Was psy the petty ones? Idk. Part of me can see j n shaggy wanting juggalos who want to go to both, going to both. Another part of me can see j n shaggy be like “fuck the competition” and announcing something like “the real juggalos are coming to the gathering” type shit. Take the gathering out the equation, I find it kinda strange that even w the current global circumstances that mne would hold a major event, then as soon as 1 is over they go hold another one. On paper that might seem fresh, but business wise does it make sense? You always want as many bodies at these things as you can get. Basicly juggalos have 3 major events to choose from at the same time. This is unpresidented. I’ve never seen anything like this in all my yrs. if there were another juggalo event it’s always a rinky dink very local gig and you all know what kind of shit I’m talking about. Like I said, their HQs are close, and they know alot of same ppl. I have no doubt in my mind they know about each other’s projects before any of us do. Info they both don’t want leaking to the opps or the world gets out anyway, and when they get info on each other I’m sure they try to play it to both their advantages.

After talking with most of my nation-wide Juggalo friends… it appears that all of ’em will be at the Gathering. The Blind Pig is a great venue for this MNE event, but I won’t be there. I will see if the exclusive CD is on Ebay though, cuz I would like to get one.

I kind of don’t think twz didn’t intend this bc if they announced asstro ahead, they would have done the same for attack of the ninjas. But maybe they just found out too and this is all just a giant coincidence, but idk. I feel like these dates became power moves at eachother at some point behind the scenes

Aotn is during astro not after it. Two years ago it was with their Fright fest in Detroit. Its just something extra for the astro attendees to do in ann arbor. They were going to announce shows with astro anyway. They do every year. Tbh, i don’t think their was bad intentions on either side. Twiztid usually does astro in February but because of covid issues they had to postpone it. I think that psy was offered the dates for the gathering based on availability of Nelson ledges. Twiztid even changed venues for astro because Sterling heights wasn’t available because of covid. I just think it’s coincidence.

I agree because there are lots of juggalos that will go to astro because they are twiztid fans. Also lots of people maybe already bought their astro tix which are not refundable, before the gathering was announced. It’s$200 for astro vip 4 day. That’s a lot of money for most of us juggalos.
