Kinda weird seeing Danni Filth mixed in there.

‘Bout ten years ago I went to a Cradle show and noticed that Zug Izland was being played in between the sets. I wore my red ICP Hell’s Pit jersey that night and Danni was locked onto it as I traversed throughout the pit. Made me wonder if Danni’s a closet Juggalo or somethin’.

    Anywho y’all….

I was listening to Freek Show earlier in the week, and remembering how wig splitting it was to hear new Twiztid songs/albums. They were killing it all the way to when they released WICKED.

It’s sad to see that they turned to this generic fake hard rock band.

I only download their shit because i’m obsessed with having every album by an artist, even if they put out dogshit albums i will never listen to. The last album I can say isn’t bad is The Darkness. After that, nothing but garbage.

You listened to Mad Season properly? I hadn’t really been a fan of anything since A New Nightmare (apart from the odd track), but mad season is solid, imo.

Same. IMO mad season is very similar to old school twiztid from back in the day. Im still going to download the album when it’s released just to have in my collection. No need to buy it though. Even though it’s not my scene, Drayven is a talented as fuck drummer.

WICKED was and is the last GREAT twz album!!!! Abominations wasn’t a let down but it was solid, too many features tho imo. The new nightmare was gay as hell then it’s gay as hell now. The darkness didn’t impress me at 1st had to grow on me, but it had some decent shit for the time. Then they released continuous life’s ?s or whatever the fuck it was called. THATS when I really started feeling disappointed musicly by twz. The production was TOOOO fuckin busy imo. They were trying to cram waaaay to many genres, sounds, and instruments into 1 song let alone the whole album. I know they were trying to appeal to as many ppl as they could but it hurt them big time imo. They’ve been lingering on that “let’s mix all the genres of music we can to have as much appeal as possible” and again to me it’s ruined their music. I’ve heard alot from mad season i still didn’t care for it and that wasn’t bc I how I feel on them, it still wasn’t to what I expect from them. Mad season was a better more focused effort than some of their recent shit like mentioned above but I still couldn’t get into it. I can safely say that most of their non pay music has been trash. Ironically they’re both better rappers than ever but their music is garbo, and instead of rapping they wanna be rockers now. If they get their shit together there’s a slim chance they could put out some dope. But I think as time goes by that less and less likely

Aren’t the only features on Abominationz Royce da 5’9” and icp ? I guess each version had a bonus track as well but don’t really consider that part of the album. It’s more than none but still pretty minimal

Glasses Malone, krizz kaliko i think and some others. But yeah I think yourre right tho. Most features were on bonus songs, but if albums come w bonus songs I always lump em together as same album. Also for some reason sometimes I confuse abominations w independents day. Now THAT did have hella features lol

Its because they’re desperately trying to break out into any genre that accepts them, I mean why not try but if it doesn’t work you just look stupid

Their rock shit is cringe worthy. Only times they somewhat pull it off is when its threaded into a dark rap type sound. Rock the dead, Howdoesitfeel, Back to hell (monoxides part), but its few and far between when they actually make the rock sound work. Revelashen was actually a solid recent album which gives me faith that they still got it. It hasn’t all been gold but they still been constant AF when stacked up against other acts. Mostasteless, Freekshow, Mirrorx2, Green Book, Mans Myth, Independents Day (half good), Wicked, Abominationz (half good), New nightmare (half good), Darkness, Generation Nightmare (mostly good), Mad season, Revelashen. 14 decent to solid albums.

Mutant, Heartbroken Homicidal, The Continuous Evilution Of Life’s ?’s were their rare misses and there’s even still some good tracks on these albums as well. Unlikely Perscription will probably join this list but ill listen to it before I decide. But from what i heard so far, its str8 cabbage.

I honestly can’t think of any other bands including ICP to be this consistent for so many many years. Thats just their own studio albums too not to mention all the collaboration albums and features they killed. They have earned the right to experiment with different sounds to “evolve” their sound. But when you are able to put so many solid albums for so long as the times change, they still obviously have the recipe. They know what us old school juggalos want to hear and I am certain we haven’t heard the last of it.

Yeah twz own sound was original enough. A sound of dark hip hop w touches of metal and rock elements was already a unique blend that set them apart from everybody already. Then they became divas and got all extra on us lol
“Strictly for the juggalos! Bitch I thought you knew, we sealing up the mainstream ears w crazy glue!”
That used to mean somthing bc they were doin shit for us, their own way and already providing a unique sound. Now it’s just emo infested garbage

Lol the only artists that say fuck the mainstream are ones that have no chance of getting in it.. like ICP trying so hard to get Let’s go all the way on MTV, then when that failed embarrassingly they apparently wouldn’t trade 10 juggalos for 100,000 mainstream fans and are underground for life (not by choice)

I brought up that old bury me alive line not bc it was pro juggalo, but bc my point was, twz sound was already unique and their music was intended for us and some where they lost their way started doing too much In their music recently and it’s no longer unique.

As for lets go all the way, didn’t mtv kinda cock block icp on that? I remember I had homies calling in TRL making sure it was #1 or whatever. I didn’t call in bc I was like fuck MTV lol but I thought the numbers were there to get it on the list but mtv was like “nah fuck icp we don’t care” I could be wrong tho, but I thought mtv just dismissed them bc they were icp.

But you’re not wrong either about that sentiment.

MTV didn’t wanna play ICP but ICP desperately wanted to get on MTV. So much so that they got their personal army to bombard MTV with requests. When it didn’t work, they decided they never cared about MTV anyway.
