I’ve given this a good listen, their music and style has always been too messy for me. But out of respect for what Twiztid used to be for me, I really appreciate the work they’ve put into this. I know Twiztid has experimented with their sound since Freek Show, Mirror Mirror & beyond. I didn’t mind a rock sounding track here & there on the old albums. This new stuff I don’t like one bit. If this is what they have to do to get booked on future warped tours then so be it. Hopefully Venomous 5 & the haunted record player: songs of Samhain vol. 2 will feature the rap version of Twiztid. Assuming those projects are still in the works.

I wouldn’t be shocked if twz bribed mike e Clark for his endorsement. I have a homie who still fucks w twz (but even he has been doing it less and less) and he was playing this new rock shit, I heard some of it, more than I care too and it is genuinely awful music. Old twz felt like they didn’t give a fuck, like they had confidence and bravado. THIS shit makes them sound needy and starving for attention. It’s a goddamn shame tbh. Also unrelated, I heard the new young wicked or James Garcia wtf ever his name is now and it was garbo. Very disappointing effort by him. There was alot more rock sounds on it than I thought would be. Slaughter was an amazing album, he was under icps influence at that time. Ever since he joined mne, his music has overall been on the decline, w the exception of ambs muerte, that was a gd album. I think James Garcia has been hanging around twz too long. Their bad tastes in sound have rubbed off on him imo.

This album isn’t my flavor at all, I have not been listening to allot of the new stuff but gave this a listen anyway. I will say, if they are happy with this album and the sound, then good for them! I won’t be playing it or buying it but this album isn’t for me, I am not a real rock fan and like someone else said it sounds like 2002 so it’s nothing groundbreaking to me.
I wish them all the best but if this is the path they will stay on,I will not be following. Just like with Cage when he dropped his depart from me album with a new sound, I will stop listening.
