Mike E. Clark Praises ICP’s “Yum Yum Bedlam”!

This will be a quick article Juggalos! There is nothing wrong with preferring a certain artist over another through your own music tastes. But this is yet again another reason why choosing sides and never listening to someone again because of gossip beef in the underground is immature and pointless! Just a couple of days ago Mike E. Clark was in the studio with Alla Xul Elu working on a mysterious project. And now Mike E. Clark has posted across social media praising Insane Clown Posse’s latest effort “Yum Yum Bedlam”! You can peep Mike E. Clark’s authentic screenshot below!

i can see why a lot of ninjas choose that song to be their fav off the album but it’s honestly my least fav and it’s bc the clowns verses are way off key and it bothers me lol

anyways, i hope this means MEC is on board with working with the clowns again! WHOOP WHOOP

For me 1 of my favorites is insomnia, particularly the 2nd half where j is asleep. i hope they do more shit like that bc that song has a nice vibe to it imo, even tho it starts off comedic but then it gets serious ad uplifting.

Yum yum really grew in me it’s a really good album so I’m not suprised MEC is digging it.

Same here. The first play thru or 2 I wasn’t hating it, but wasn’t loving it either. More I listened to it, the more it grew on me and now I fucking love it. Icp did a great job of having a gd variety of music while also making something unique sounding.
I also like the fact that thru out yum yum they were their clown selves, but this is 1 of, if not icps most mature album yet.
They really kind of put them self out there on this 1 and you gotta respect that.
J really went hard af too. I love how he used the more modern rapping style this time around.
Yum yum will def stay on rotation for me for a while. Can’t wait for the seeds to drop.

Also nothing wrong with picking sides over the beef juggalos always remember that, there’s nothing wrong with having a sense of honor and seeing that people like Twiztid clearly have no honor, so there is nothing wrong with no longer supporting snakes like Twiztid. The only ones who ever crtiticize picking sides are always snowflake twizzlers who wanna excuse themselves for supporting a couple of back stabbing snakes like Twiztid. But real juggalos have no problem picking sides, its clear Twiztid have grown into some sell out fake bitches, if you wanna pick the twizzler side go right ahead or you can come hang with the real down ass juggalos who recognise fake bitches like Jamie and Paul. Also YumYum>Unlikely Prescription

Did you graduate third grade, bruh? I like how you think Twiztid are sell outs for not letting Violent J control their music and take a cut off their profits. Dumb fuck. ICP doesn’t even write their own lyrics anymore. ICP lied about the juggalo March for publicity in the mainstream press. ICP had their own fucking TV show. They’ve been in video games. They have had merchandise in every mall in this country for twenty years. They sell more merchandise than KISS. Violent J is a “wicked rapper” but he bumps Katy Perry. Yet somehow Twiztid are the sellouts? Naw, your just fake bro. Your a loser who attached their personal identity to fakes in clown makeup. I bet you diss UFC and praise WWE, too.

Makes sense that he focussed on that track. It’s the most old school sounding ICP track on the album. Its clearly a beat heavily inspired by Mike Clark. I wish YYB would have carried on with that kind of sound. Could have been some Shangri-la type shit but it is what it is. Not my thing, beyond a few songs but you can’t love them all. I think there were only one or two tracks on FFF that I didn’t like so I can’t really feel too hard done by. Still think YYB sounds cheap, even after multiple listens.

I don’t really hold Mike’s taste in such high regard anymore, after he said how amazing that trash Twiztid album was though…

So you wish Yum had stayed on the inspired by/similar to Mike E Clark vibe and it would’ve been on a shangri la vibe? Mike E Clark didn’t do any Shangri La tracks and thats why it is easily the worst of the first deck.

Nope. I was saying that the Here Comes The Carnival beat was very “Mike Clark Inspired”. I think Mike P was heavily inspired by the past sound of ICP and the production of Shangri-la was absolutely top tier, like it or not. It’s just my opinion, bro. Enjoy yours. I’d have preferred an album that sounded like Here Comes The Carnival much more than I enjoyed YYB.

I just took it as he was saying each artists album was good in the hopes they’d want to work with him

Also I went back and listened to MEC’S versions on the wraith remixes albums and I don’t know how I feel about them.. but if he had of used the Project Deadman beats though.. oh boy

I’ve never been a huge fan of his remixes. I think he works best when he’s the backbone of a song and the song is built around him. His remixes always feel like he’s trying to outdo the original to me, rather than just making it his own thing.

Those Project Deadman beats would have made Hell’s Pit unreal, if they would have taken it on that direction.

Exactly, he’s the third member of ICP; no question. To be blunt I think they never would’ve taken off and had such a loyal following without his involvement. They have a formula that is pure heroin.

Agreed. For me, Shangri-la is up there with the best they’ve ever done. I’d love for them to be able to revisit that sound with the same type of energy.

Shangri-La is 80% garbage. How this goes over most of y’alls head is perplexing. The first 5 cards are so many levels above anything after. Also, COC is incredibly dope. Classic after classic on it and its hard, gritty and they were young wicked clowns. Blasphemy saying otherwise.

It’s all good. I fully expected to hate FFF before it came out, based on the shit they released on the run up (that didn’t make the album) and ended up liking it a lot. Still listen to it from start to finish, now, which is more than I can say for a few of they’re release over the last decade so I can’t be too disappointed.

Yum Yum Dum Cum is a fucking horrendous album. Just like Frosty Fred Fucknut. Just like the Inspirational Christ Posse’s Marvelous Ghost Written Album. The songs are fucking stale, the lyrics are boring, the beats are awful. ICP died with Mighty Death Pop. It was their last great album.

Up untill FFF I didn’t really have a 2nd deck favorite. I like a gd size handful of tracks from thru out 2nd deck but non of them came full circle to me. Fff changed that, that was the 1st one where I was like ok, icp are really firing on all cylinders on this 1. Same thing w yum yum. Idk which 1 I like better fff or yum yum. I feel like yum yum they really learned what wasn’t working on all the previous 2nd deck cards.

You’re only being a sarcastic cunt about Miracles because it went viral. If it went unnoticed you’d probably praise it as underrated. Truth is that Mike E Clarks beat was impossibly dope as usual which is part of the reason it got so much traction.

Hell yeah, I don’t think they weren’t trying on those it was the opposite. I think they were trying too hard to be different for what they were known for, but it just didn’t translate how they wanted it to. However I will say this, bpb-missing links, some songs from those I like better now than I did when they came out. But I still can’t go back and play any of em front to back like I can w fff and yum yum.
At this rate tho, w this momentum I think we’re in for a real treat when the final 2nd deck card drops
