Former JCW, ECW, and WWE star Balls Mahoney has passed away as of yesterday.  As of right now, the cause of death is unknown.  He was in a serious car accident this past November (which was covered here), but we are unaware if this is due to complications from his recovery.

Balls just celebrated his 44th birthday on Monday, and friends have said that he had been suffering from a short-term illness.
