From Twiztid Shop:

It is well known that Jamie Madrox is a fan of Willy Wonka the original movie and had decided that this would be the next art print as he finished this on the last tour and we were shocked to hear of Gene Wilder’s passing the same day these arrived at our office. . . . so without further delay we give you Jamie’s Underground Art Print #3 Willy Wonka.

Jamie’s Underground Art Print #3 Willy Wonka is original hand drawn artwork done by Jamie that is screen printed onto this thick Mohawk Premium Grade Opaque card stock measuring 11 by 17 perfect for framing!! These will be hand signed and numbered by Jamie Madrox and are limited to 100 pressed!

Willy Wonka Underground Art Shirt again drawn by Jamie Madrox this was originally going to be just for the art print but with how fast they sell out we didn’t want everyone to miss out on the devastating artwork from Madrox!!!

If you read the item description it says that these were produced before his death, and arrived at the shop the day he died. I sure hope that’s true because I was a fan of the Jamie art print series.

That’s what I would say if I was trying to profit off of someone’s death too. Speculation.

Good point, but they were produced pretty quickly so it might be true.

true or not, i dont remember twiztid announcing any willy wonka licensing deals… and it doesnt seem to have much to do with any albums, or tours… or anything, really, except puttin someone elses shit on a t-shirt and sellin it.
might as well draw a stormtrooper, write ‘star wars’ next to it, get even more paid.

See, I actually might have bought this if it just said Twiztid on it or nothing at all.. Why does it have to say Willy Wonka on the front? Like, to be sure people know it’s Willy Wonka? And putting “Jamie’s underground art blah blah blah” on the back makes it even more cheesy. That’s one of the main reasons I’ve yet to buy a one day at only shirt. When you put the words “1 day only” on the shirt itself it’s just lame imo.

The other underground art prints were just ideas Jamie had, right? Like the witch and whatever?

I guess they did Ninja Turtles…

I wonder how they would feel about people doing that with THEIR artwork. We already know how Psy feels about it.
