KMK reunites with Saint Dog on upcoming “Mile High” album! [with Video]

This is something I bet you probably thought you’d never see! The Kottonmouth Kings have reunited with one-time frontman Saint Dog!  This isn’t just for 1 or 2 tracks for the upcoming “Mile High” album, but a total of 6 new tracks featuring the OG King!  What does this say for the future of the Kottonmouth Kings?  Will he return as a permanent member?  I guess we’ll see how it goes over with the new album!  Now, here’s the press release:

Kottonmouth Kings Reunite With Saint Dog To Record New Album “Mile High”

To mark the release of the group’s monumental thirteenth studio album, “Mile High”, the Kottonmouth Kings reunited with Saint Dog, the original emcee who appeared on the group’s debut album and spit his lispy rhymes on classic songs like “Suburban Life” and “Bump”. Saint Dog recorded the explosive new cut “Judgment Day” on “Mile High”, which sees him ripping it up with the Kings on record for the first time since he recorded 1998’s “Royal Highness”.

“D-Loc had a song idea and thought it would be cool to get Saint Dog on it. We flew Saint out from Minnesota and just started vibing on music together and reviving that musical chemistry we had together,” commented Brad X. “We initially just went in to record just the one track, but once we got in the studio together we just started banging out songs and came out with six new songs. I think it was really therapeutic for all of us and it was a great creative spark on this record.”

“Mile High” is the Kottonmouth Kings on steroids with a twist of ecstasy and a pot brownie. “Mile High” has the Kings passing the mic around like the Harlem Globetrotters pass a basketball and spitting lyrical fire. To help “Mile High” truly take flight, the Kings were joined in the studio by some of the sickest emcees in the underground including Swollen Members, Jahred from (Hed)p.e., Mickey Avalon, and the demented duo Twiztid. To tie it all together the Kings created some mind altering X-Rated album artwork for that is only available for a limited time online at http://bit.ly/IX7NlM.

The Kottonmouth Kings will hit the road with horror master Prozak, underground heavyweight Big B, and country hip-hop misfits the Moonshine Bandits for The Mile High Tour beginning July 30th in Santa Cruz, CA.
