Track by track review and rating

1. Gold:  Hype beat and great flow in the verses.  Hook is sung but works here.  Song is a good example of how Hip Hop can mix with pop and work.  8/10

2. Talk shit get hit:  A huge change of sound from the first track.  Hard beat and great verses make this an easy track to blast and sing along with.  9/10

3. World gone Crazy Feat Jacque & Jessica Harris:  A dope beat with female backing on the hook.  The verses are well performed and fit very well over the quick beat.  8/10

4. Looking for a way out:  A much slower beat allows the verses to stand on their own.  The hook a little too dramatic and over done.  6/10

5. Domination Feat Chucky Chuck DGAF:  A spoken intro gives way to a hard hitting beat.  Great old school sound comes through in the verses.  Chucky Chuck adds a different sound a flavor to the track.  7/10

6. Move Mountains:  The beat is very similar to a sound from the 1980’s but it works here.  The verses flow well with the hook and make the track enjoyable.  7/10

7. Can’t let go:  This beat is a little to electronic at times and it takes away from the flow.  The content of the lyrics is good and has a very good message.  The chorus is once again sung but over the top.  6/10

8. Real Hip Hop:  A really nice beat allows all of the artists to perform well.  It is easy to see they fit into Hip Hop with tracks like this.  8/10

9. Super Woman:  A slower beat allows the lyrics to really stand out.  This hook is sung as well but works due to the content of the track.  7/10

10. Word from Spice 1:  Spokeninterlude by Spice 1.  N/A

11. Southwest Anthem Feat Daddy X:  One of the most complex beats on the album.  The track is a good tribute to Southwest and West Coast Hip Hop.  Daddy X holds it down on his verse.  9/10

12. Beauty in the Street:  The track pays tribute to all things street from tagging to skate boarding.  The hook does little to add to the track.  6/10

13. Day of the Show feat J Hornay:  A great beat adds a lot to the verses.  Another nice Hip Hop track shows the CCS Crew’s diversity.  The hook is decent.  7/10

14. Rap Sheet:  A slow beat and great hook makes this track very enjoyable.  The verses are well written and performed.  7/10

15. Walking Contradiction:  The hook leads off the track but it does nothing to add to the track.  5/10

16. Sorry:  This track is depressing in content and the hook is well done and adds a lot to the overall feel of the track.  8/10

17. This is it:  A very good beat leads the track.  The content is all about moving upward in the business.  A nice track to finish the album.  8/10

Conclusion:  The CCS Crew has put together a very solid album.  It showcases their ability to fit into many different genres of music.  Fans of Hip Hop, Horror core, Rap, Backpack rap, and more mainstream sounds will enjoy this album.  You would be hard pressed to find another group who can bridge the gap of so many styles of music.
