I didnt know there was a 3 part series in 1997. Were about half way thru that. It has more pieces of the puzzle.

They each have a different room number for the lady in the bath. What was it in the book?  

I remember watching that series with my older brother and my dad, in my dad's room every night that it was unveiled. I lucidly recall seeing "the woman in the bath tub" from the original "The Shining" (which we had already seen) not even coming close to scaring the bejesus out of us with her glare, as this one from the miniseries did. Shook us deep.

Overall, the miniseries was cheesy and unneccessary. But it had it's moments.

Thats the lady in room 217 from the mini series, she was pretty freaky. The original Shining was room 237. I believe the Dr Sleep was 247?

The mini series shows the boiler having to be below 140psi and there is no blow off valve. Which explains the furnace expoding at the end of Dr Sleep. Also says that 'the hotel' actually shines, I dont think that's been covered anywhere else. Were a little more than half way thru, if i find more tidbits ill share.  

I dont remember, dude. I havent read the original book in like 15 years and shit. All I know is tip your maid. Or she will rape dat ass.
