At the time the Ernest movies were great. Dont know how they would play out today.

Short circuit may be possible to sit thru.

I remember my dad having The Dark Crystal on laser disk. Cant for the life of me remember one scene tho. I do remember at the time it being similar to Fraggle Rock in some kind of way.

Short Circuit 2 still holds up. The first one is super dated though.

Think I’ll keep the Earnest movies as a memory though.

Ernest Goes to Jail, Ernest Goes to Camp and Ernedt Scared Stupid were the three that I remember being the most entertaining. That shit weird Ernest becomes Electro Man in the Jail movie, lol we used to be so geeked for that.

Little Monsters is classic.

Has no one else seen The Phantom Tollbooth?

And The Princess Bride makes me think of the so-called Mandela Effect. Because this was supposedly some classic 80’s or 90’s movie that EVERYONE has seen, but I had never even HEARD of it! People at my work were making references to it and I was clueless. So i watched clips of it and just never wrung a bell. I dont actually believe in the Mandela Effect (although I am aware and fascinated by multiverse and parallel dimension theories) but that one was pretty odd.

Imagine how you all would feel if one day you discovered that there was some huge movie everyone knew but you, and you were an adult? And you even considered yourself a moderate movie buff.

Like what if you just discovered today some movie called “The Goonies” and you watched it and loved it, and had never heard a single thing about it? Everyone else has! Or maybe “The Shining” .. “E.T.”… “The Breakfast Club”? Its just weird to me.
