Stephen King made us want to kill the bully in IT, what was his name? Henry Bowers? Killed dude's dog man, I wanted to jump into that book and kill him myself. He writes villains like that all the time, you just FUCKING HATE THEM. It's crazy how he's able to do that, to make us hate a fictional character so much. Bowers stands out though, one of the best/worst.

He really does man. kid was a piece of fucking shit. The king of bullies... Him and his daddy where fucking bigots too. Wasn't It Mike Hanlons dog he killed? They lived right down the road from one another if I remember correctly. Definitely got what was coming too him.

Preachy you read 11/22/63? he delves into time travel in that one. A little different concept though. Everytime you go back in time it creates a new  timeline. Branches off if you will. Might wanna check it out if you love time travel

Havent read it yet but i really want to. I really dig that whole case the kennedy assassination. I once did a report on it and went all conspiracy theory on it was really cool. I would love to just take a month off and read all them books.

Man Christine is another good one not a time travel but some great action scenes. The movie didnt do it justice in building the relationships between the characters.

Doesnt From a Buick 8 have something to do with a time travelling car or dimension crossing? I read that one has some pretty gruesome crashes in it.

Like I was tellin pat I hadn't gotten around to from a buick 8. You ever see the zapruder footage? Shit is fucking hardcore man. They restored it and put it in HD. They actually broke the whole thing down forensically on this one show. Lee fired three bullets. They think the first one ricocheted off of a street sign or lamppost. He then switched positions and fired twice more.

One went through kennedys chest and into the guy in the front  seat. And the second through the back of kennedys head and out the front. And they actually did come across footage that shows the grassy knoll during the time it happened. Nobody to be found

From a buick 8 doesn't have time travel in it, it's more like travel through other dimensions than time. I can't really explain what it is exactly without completely fuckin it up for ya, but I can tell you that if you're looking for a time travel book that isn't one. 11/22/63 is more up that alley, Slumerican has it right.

I've seen what you're talking about man, not in HD though. There's a whole bunch of shit out there on that, it's a really interesting story The Kennedy Assassination. It's fun to watch but aggravating as fuck because no one will ever really know exactly what happened. It's more like pick your favorite theory and go with that. Great shit though.

well on this show they actually recreated the whole thing. They closed the actual street down  and put somebody up in the book depository and put a car where he got shot. Its hard for me to explain but they broke it all down scientifically based on bullet projection and where the shell casings where located after he fired. They found one shell casing in one spot and two grouped together. Implying he had to move after the first shot because his view was obstructed. You are right though there isn't anyway to know 100% what happened.

the zapruder film in hd is really really gruesome man. Its horrifying to watch you can actually see the front of his head explode. I couldn't imagine being there when that all went down

Im glad people can be inspired to read again. I think reading helps with conversing and also creating sentance structures in my rhymes cuz im an emcee too. but i deffinately will get back when i read Tom Gordon. Im like 200 pages from the end of the Shining and im excited about how its going to end but i also like the suspense of not knowing. I bought Firestarter when i bought Tom Gordon. Have u ever been so engulfed in a story that u forget that u are just reading? I did that when i read IT man i just got lost in that. Sometimes i imagine myself as a character in the book or like im the main character idk man i like when an author can engulf your senses.

I just read here Danny has the run in with the Hedges and then the whole Party in the elevator part. I am really seeing myself in the Jack character too though trying not to be mean and show love but at the same time juggle responsibilities that get a little overwhelming at times. WOW. Have u heard anything about the Eyes of the Dragon SyFy movie?

Cell is a really good book. The main charcter is like an artist and hes trying to get a comic published that is really similar to the Dark Tower as far as characters. Its actually a really fast read. It involves Zombies but with a twist that makes it very unique. I want to read Lisey's Story almost got it the other day but didnt cuz i got so many more i want to read b4 it . I heard it was wack but then again my opinion is diff from everyone else. I really like when King takes you to them other worlds like in Rose Madder. That was like a lifetime movie but with gore and a mythical world the picknick in the woods and foreplay i could have done with out. But being bitten to death is a pain i cant imagine. And he bit so hard that he made his own jaw hurt. Nuts!

Right man. One might think fiction is a waste of time but it really can open up new avenues of thought for you. Theres alot of truth in fiction imo. Not only that but people who read novels generally have a better memory. Therefore are more intelligent because you can retain more information.

Tom gordon was a good read, and unusually short for a king book.

It is weird though in a way you do feel sorry for jack as psychotic as that sounds. Just watching everything around you slowly fall apart. He is trying to be a better man and take care of his shit but his reality and mind slowly start to get warped.

The Shing is such a great book man. It's not hard to feel bad for Jack at all, he wasn't a bad guy. He just had a drinking problem which led to him being a less than perfect husband and father, but not a really bad guy. The hotel is what's evil and fucks with him, he's really just a pawn. Nobody would have a chance walking in there.

Did you guys know there's a real hotel that's haunted in Colorado called The Stanley Hotel and when Stephen King stayed there he had a fucked up night and that's how he got the idea for The Shining? It's owned by the same Stanley who invented whatever the Stanley Steemer is. You know that jingle "Call one eight hundred steeeeeeeemer". Yeah, that guy. Everytime I see that commercial I think of The Shining. That place was on Ghost Adventures too a couple years ago.

Speaking of haunted motels: I went into this old jail one time like really old im talking like 1800's style or early 1900's and it was real creepy like the temp was much colder in there than the temp outside. Me my brother and a couple of my cousins went in there. It was actually gated off but my amazon of a cousin broke the lock and we went in there it was a trip. There was suppose to be hangings done in there and corrupt guards. It deffinately had an uneasy atmosphere to it it had opne big holding cell and it was all cement and metal brother we were all freaked out cuz some one said they heard something and we just bounced out quick. kinda reminds me of the Green Mile cuz the old creepy jail.

I've never heard of Waverly Hills, I'll look that up in a minute, I love scary shit, especially haunted places. Lots of old prisons claim to be haunted or have fucked up stories attached to them, a lot of bad mean shit goes on in those places. Old shut down state run "Hospitals" are like that too. Ouija boards are another fucked up thing that I love to hear stories about, surprised Stephen King never wrote a story involving one of those, even if in a small way. He mentioned one in passing at the beginning of Thinner but that's all that I can remember.

Ive workd at a prison and a juvie center and u can feel an uneasiness when u walk in. Even nursing homes have a spirit of death about them, spirits of death and depression and hopelessness u can just feel it heavy man just get that wierd feeling down in ur gut. back to the prison and juvie center there was always little junk that would happen that made u look twice or stop and get ur thoughts together. One time at the juvie center i was doing a count of the offenders in their cells and i counted one cell empty but i heard a little girls voice as i was walking out that hall but i went back and the two cells were empty so there was no way there could have been anyone there and the other cells were males so that was wierd and in one dorm i always heard shower shoes walking but with no one there to make the noises. in the prison people talked about doors opening by themselves and apparitions on the security cams. Crazy stuff.

That's some scary shit man. Little girls laughing is one of the most chilling things on Earth when you hear it all alone, and for no reason. I would've pissed myself. I like to read about it, not live it.
