[edit]  i personally dig saving private ryan on hallucinogenics, but i would never recommend it to others.  watched it once with a friend, every two minutes, he says, 'aaah!'  

a shot of grunts walkin through a field, hes like, 'aaah!'  i thought it was a riot, but later he said he hadnt been so scared since he was a kid. 

my absolute favorite thing to watch when tripping, however, is pink floyds pulse concert video.  outfuckinstanding.  unless you just plain hate pink floyd, youll have a blast.

another cautionary example:  my uncle once watched apocalypse now on lsd, and it literally fucked him up for the rest of his life.  he will tell you this himself.  the man is legitimately crazy. 

pink floyd is a much better choice.  thats the pulse video, mind you, the earls court concert.  not the others [which are fine, just not amazing].

there are some cheesed out, sorry horror/scifi movies called pulse... not those.  

pink floyd, live at earls court, mid-nineties.  i highly recommend.

Pink Floyds the shit. The Wall is a good movie, and I watch that sober. But it isn't a movie to watch while you're tripping, I don't think so. I never seen any of these other movies mentioned but if I was shrooming I'd wanna be in a park with the wilderness. The first time I tripped my friends and I were listening to the beginning parts of WICKED, and that's when I started getting the giggles and I thought the music was fucking with me. Not a good mix. But I was also told that there were cops out front and it got me all paranoid so I hid my weeds in the ceiling and everyone turned the lights off and I'm still fucking going strong. Don't trip with a bunch of assholes around. I heard What Dreams May Come is a good movie but it makes you think. So, why don't you just go walking in the woods or create music or do something really creative instead of watching a flick.

The movie makes sense even without the drugs. I grew up without a father figure, I kind of relate to the Wall and I know that whole album front to back. DSOTM was cool but I never tried syncing it up with the Wizard of Oz. Plenty of people told me to watch that movie while tripping and I did my first time seeing it, just didn't finish it cause I was focused on other shit. Putting on some good experimental music is good for a trip and just close your eyes.
