There have been alot of people dying this year, and we’re only 18 days into the said year!
First my wife’s Uncle died back on the 6th (He was a hardcore Juggalo RIP). My Brother in law died on the 10th (Better than my actual brother, I will miss him).
Then celebrity deaths. David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Blowfly, am I missing anyone else?
I wonder who else we’ll lose in 2016?

Glen Frey from the Eagles. Natalie Cole. Craig Strickland (some country singer I never heard of so I dunno how famous he actually was?). Brian Bedford. Lawrence Philips. Dan Haggerty. There are probably others that I haven’t heard about since I barely heard about Blowfly tonight and it happened yesterday.

Here’s Doug Stanhope’s ‘Celebrity Death Pool’ for u morbid fux:
https://www.dougstanhopescelebritydeathpool.com/
The point system works like this:
“…25 Points: The Kurt Cobain
Celebrity dies from Suicide.
25 Points: The Whitney Houston
A black Celebrity dies during Black History Month (February).
25 Points: The Bette Davis
Celebrity dies from breast cancer during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October)….(etc.)”
You may have already guessed this, but I don’t play.

Maybe more media entrenched public figures have died in the starting days of this year but statistics from the CDC and other statistic sources (sorry, I couldn’t find any for 2016, most are from previous years) show a steady decline in per capita deaths. Actual deaths have increased but the population has increased more than the rate of deaths. By percentage, year after year, the deaths have gone down. We should expect to see more public figures die every year since they are a cross section of the general populous and number of death has increased in total while still experiencing a decrease in deaths per capita.
