A lot can happen in a short amount of time.
I had a little bitchboy sore throat for a day or so. The mildest one ever.
Drove my family to the airport to fly home for break to visit family (tickets are at an all time low).
Felt a bit sicker. Head hurt. Eyes hurt. Ah well. Watched a movie on Netflix. Slept.
Woke up at 4 am. Freezing yet on fire. Bathed in sweat. Shaking. Pains. Throat much harsher.
You ever feel so cold from an illness, that the very air blown around underneath your blanket sends you into horribly painful spasms? I had this happen once before, a few years back. It is like the merging of the two bad sicknesses I’ve had since living out here combined into one fucked up virus. Just the worst feeling.
It goes without saying that I probably have COVID-19. It is fucking horrible. I hope the worst is behind me, because FUCK.
I was too ill to even get up and take a piss. The coldness was so extreme that I felt as if I would die after hitting the air of an open room.
Theraflu is dope. CBD tablets and gummies helped, also. But those are now all gone. The family is enjoying a brief vacation 2000 miles away. I’m worried about my parents and their health.
Our shop shut down for a few days. First time ever. This is crazy stuff. No one has any concrete plans for this.
What have I been doing, you ask? Well, once i was able to leave the bed, i managed to stay a bit active: do dishes, clean the aquatic pet’s homes, play some Mario Maker 2 on Switch. Doing those simple things felt like paradise compared to the subzero despair I felt this early morning.
I have no idea what is happening.

on my end they even closed my local McDonalds no take out no delivery its just closed
my local supermarket now has bouncers they only let in a few in at a time and they make you wash your hands before entering they have a sanivac (google it) station up they force you to use if you wanna buy a frozen pizza.
they are starting to give $1000 dollar tickets to people who are in a larger group than 5 and most of the places that are still open refuse to accept cash anymore.

The balla company we work for is still open (hardcore life during wartime) so we are lucky to be working 7 days a week (as usual) toward something industrially necessary. We strategically shop a few times a week in different places to store nonperishables & hygiene products (soap, napkins, etc.), eat less (I’m at around 1200 calories a day), & get rest so we can do it all again tomorrow.
This will pass.
People survived an Ice Age.
Fight back, motherfuckers. If there was ever a time in ur lives not to be tourists, it’s now.
And if that virus comes near my immune system I’ll rip its nipples off.

Just chillin in the holler. I wanted to go fuck off in Lancaster during my paid vacation but people in the holler are so paranoid they told me not to come back if I go. I still went last week though. Shit was fun I gotta record again next time.

Our company has been designated an essential service but I could see half the staff being laid off soon, slowest it’s ever been.

So I’m still sick. The first two days were hellish. Today (if my low-battery thermometer is to be trusted) I am finally under 100 degrees. My head and body still hurt and my breathing is.. different.. but not worrisome.
I believe a reason for less people posting is due to the stupid new mobile layout for Faygoluvers. I hate it, myself.
But back to the Coronavirus… of the four dispensaries in town, we are the only one temporarily closed. We plan to reopen Wednesday but who knows. I just drove by the other three in town (we are all very close together, like within a quarter mile) and while they are open, they aren’t doing the insane, line-out-the-door business that we were last week. Very strange.
Our McDonald’s was open, drive-thru only. Got me some breakfast that I could barely taste. Should’ve stuck to my veggie/fruit smoothie regiment. Picked up some more flu meds, water and cran-blackberry juice. Since the fam is far away, it will be very easy for me to keep a stock of food.
Been drinking tap water, so I’m happy to have some spring water. Our water is infamous for not being the best quality out here, but the truth is that while it may not be grand in the long run, it is very much survivable liquid. Like we aren’t ingesting dangerous fluids.

I agree with Krunk a bit. There is no reason to be afraid of this. While there will be casualties and lifestyle paradigm shifts, we face things trying to kill us every day anyway.

My wife is in our hometown with my kids. She visited my mom and dad. My dad is in rough shape. He is having trouble breathing. So there may be some heavy things happening for me personally. But that’s life.

Nothing to fear as long as we’re smart about it.
The death toll in Italy is fairly daunting.
IDK how it will pan out here in the US, though.
Seems like people are trying to pretend like it doesn’t exist or that it will just go away or that it isn’t a big deal at all.
We’ve been warned about it coming but our government hasn’t actually prepped us as well as it could. Luckily it hasn’t hit us too hard and we can still get ahead of it.
The economy is going to take a huge blow from it and I don’t know if it can recover naturally. Probably the most important thing this current admin will have to deal with.

Sylvain Legault our premier is closing everything except grocery stores,pharmacies and the liquor and weed stores, restos can stay open but for delivery only.

I cannot seem to reproduce it. I do not see the mobile layout at all. What browser and version are you using so I can try to replicate the issue so I can try to fix it.

I never came on here using a mobile device so I have no clue what the issue is
I am old I use my phone to make phone calls and instagram that’s about it I don’t even text much
so I am on day 10 of quarantine I am still working but I worked from home 80% of the time the past year anyway
there is talk that the company I work for might buy all of us peloton bikes to keep in shape from home that would be cool
I tried to get back into video games but I find them boring these days been playing some diablo 3 but can’t get into it
but I am binge watching the expanse and gotta admit it’s a great show,I am almost done
so anybody got any recommendations for a show to binge watch??

Here’s screenshot of my browser info on mobile. Idk if it’ll help, but the new mobile layout blows. Particularly the main page as it sorts by newest entry on FLH period. (So I may have 4 garbage music videos showing up before what would be the actual latest news post.)
