they took my sister away yesterday paramedics in hazmat suits she is a nurse and might have come in contact with the virus they tested her and she was negative and let her go but they are not fucking around here in Montreal.
I think I am one of the people who are immune to it I drink too much to the point I am more scared that if the stores run out of beer I will die from lack of booze I am sure my body is dependent on it now it’s been 8 years I have been drinking at least 10 beers a night every night.
and I feel fine I go outside everyday for an hour walk around the almost dead streets I don’t touch anyone or anything and when I do I got gloves and a can of lysol disinfectant spray
my local supermarket has bouncers that make you wash your hands before entering and on the way out, there are markers in the lines for how far you should stay away from people and there is no shortage on toilet paper anymore but I still can’t find any pasta or pasta sauces and my local mcdocnalds is still fucking closed and I so want that habanero mcchicken before the end of the month and they stop selling it I might have to uber eats that shit

We’ve been trying to prevent someone catching for weeks. I got it and maybe 2 other coworkers but I’m not sure. There is only so much you can do. We were wearing gloves, using insane amounts of hand sanitizer and taking hand wash breaks. We quit letting people even look at the herb and one guy got so mad about it. Stuns me how entitled people can act.
But yeah we reopened under the new “curbside rules”. Jared Polis made a temporary allowance for Colorado dispensaries to stay open as long as we all make these changes. No one is allowed inside past the lobby and we have to have them call from their cars so we bring their product up to them. They got people working in the freezing rain and snow. Gonna be interesting to return to.
I’ll be back on Monday they decided.

Yep. You wouldn’t believe (well, obviously you would lol) believe how irritable and irritating people are acting at my job. This guy yesterday was giving my manager shit because we wouldn’t take his wife’s credit card (we are one of the very few dispensaries that take cards at all in Colorado), and he was already harassing my coworker prior to this, trying to get him to (illegally) open up early. Finally, when he started mumbling some F-Words to my manager, I snapped. I told him we can refuse him service and then just “GET THE FUCK OUT!!”
He was stunned. “You just said an F-word?”
I said “yeah, you did first. If you have a problem with it, report me! My name is Brett. B-R-E-T-T!!”
“I dont gotta report you, you’re a pussy!” He says. Then he goes to his truck and never returns.
Shit is ridiculous. We are on the frontlines of this disease, I myself am just returning it from having it. And people act so fucking entitled. This is just one incident. I’m not taking any fucking shit. We are wearing masks and gloves and spraying EVERYTHING nonstop, all day. And they complain because we are doing the new curbside method of herb sales.
Other than that, I love my job. Sometimes I’m actually outside in the sun rather than that windowless building all day. Got some nice color in my skin.
But this corona is bringing out more of the worst than the best from people, if I were to average it all out so far. But things can get better.

Tip your budtenders, wherever you are.
Because for every decent toker like yourself, we have 3 entitled humans who dont know how to express their stress around other humans.
They deserve our empathy and patience, too. But if you are rude and swearing and fucking with the people that are risking their shit to help you either get high or medicate (or both), then I WILL go at you. I’ve been doing this 5.5 years now. I dont give a fuck how big you are, how many people you have with you, your ailments, your personal problems… return our respect or there will be trouble.

So im back out sick again. Went back for 4 days and then, out of nowhere, got a fever again. I dont think its COVID, but who knows? I’ll be back hopefully when this subsides.

It will take about 7 days for you to sweat off all that sickness and start leveling up your stamina.
