I used to diver FedEx and dogs can be very unpredictable. Most guys carry mace, that is usually all you need. i would’ve tried to pistol whip the pup first but I wasn’t there so who knows. Cops suck more often than not but I dunno. 

ive seen cops kill pits first hand manya time. the last time i seen it is cuz the pit wouldnt let ne cops near his recently shot to deth owner. it was funny cuz the dog would runn off the cops n then come back to his owner like come on dude cops is here we gotta go. after the dog catchers came n was unable to get the dog under control popop. gansta pits dont wanna die in no kennel STREETS son

Dog poses serious bodily harm and is intent to cause it, shoot it. Cop or not, I woulda done it. I feel like this video is only circulating/a controversy cus the shooters were cops.

FUCK THAT SHIT….there are other ways to subdue a dog if you’re a cop…you have like OMD said mace or slum said a tazer…or a club to keep yourself safe…but then again my boy got shot in the leg for threating with a weapon…the weapon was the chain attached to his wallet that he had in his hand…

edit…Ive been attacked by a Pit once…admitadly while my boy was robbing his owner…i damn sure punched that big fuck in the throat after i tackled it…but mostly to keep it from clamping around my arm or leg…luckily i only got minor abrasions…

Dogs like pits are actually one of the best breeds to have around families and children. But these decades of training and pitfighting are seriously fucking up these mostly gentle dawgs’ reps. Same for rottweilers, mastiffs, etc.

Pits are relatively harmless dogs, My dog lady is one of the sweetest pits, She don’t know the word attack and if she did she would just lick ya to death. Every person I know who owns pits when I go to see them their dogs will greet me at the door but they never try to attack me. This is just fucked up, Killing a dog for protecting its owner and property.

Always easy to judge until you’re the one staring down the beast. I know you’re a dog lover OCJ so you’ll never justify it, but imo this is only a sensation cus people want another reason to shit talk cops. Just like when Zimmerman shot Trayvon, it was just another reason to throw racism into the media. Imo, those guys had every reason to shoot the dog. But like slum said, it all comes down to if the cops were doing what theyre supposed to in the first place. If this was all avoidable, then those guys need to get suspended. Not fired. Everyone fucks up. But it needs to be REAL suspension. Not paid vacation (that’s the one thing I’ll always agree with that’s anti-cops. Suspension with pay is bullshit)

I think any dog can go apeshit without a moments notice. This was many years ago but my best friends baby sister got mauled by their black lab and it was as sweet as a dog could be. She was ok btw. I don’t know why but Rots are the only breed that really scares me. One of my grandparents neighbors(they live like a quarter mile away) had a pair of em when I was around eight or so and they were really mean SOBs. They were notorious for getting out of their cages and slaughtering neighborhood cats and stuff. Anyways I was playing outside by myself one day and came face to face with one of em. It was a good 50 or 60 yards aways so I never was in any real danger but that mother fucker chased me inside and I haven’t liked em since. I’m pretty sure they were forced to put those dogs down eventually but yall know how the memory distorts over the years

I know what you mean slum, My parents had a dog back when I was around 15-16, It was an Austrailian Shepard. He was a mean motherfucker too, I was playin Frisbee in the house with my sister I went to catch the Frisbee it hit the ground and from out of nowhere the dog came out of my parents room and attacked me, Putting ten holes in the back of my head, and this occurred once again about 6 mos later. Of course they never did get rid of him, until a few yrs later when we moved out of the house, But I was happy he was gone, That dog was a fuckin asshole for real, But to be honest it wasn’t really his fault cause he was abused by his previous owners and he hated teen boys. I guess it was just in his nature to protect my sister and parents against what he thought was a threat against their safety.

wtf, what were they doing arresting the dude in the first place? and thta dog was clearly just protecting its owner. you can see teh guy was trying to subdue his dog.

@LTB – the dog was clearly NOT an aggressive dog. it was being protective of its owner.
