When I went for my security licence I remember that if you were to use a dog in any situation it would be deemed the same as drawing a firearm and shooting, if that dog bites. So with that logic the cop must have been getting shot at, yeah?

my old man used to be a really good German Shepherd breeder and trainer. Champion breeder/infant and used to breed and train dogs for the police. So growing up around dogs all my life I know how to handle them and defending yourself against a dog attack isn’t all that hard when you know dogs so its surprising this isn’t taught in police school because you wouldn’t need to shoot it. 

One of my best defensive tactics is to keep them occupied on your feet. Dogs don’t want their feet trodden on so start stomping like a motherfucker! Give it a boot in the snout too, that’ll teach em. Of course when shit hits the fan you need to instinctively know what you’re doing So if you aren’t around dogs it mightn’t be as easy as I put. 

You can also try staring them down. They’ll either get over you or get really upset. If they get upset start stomping like a rhino heard while making weird noises. though this is all my experience with decent dogs like shepherds. Your scum bag pit bulls and what not are completely different. I’ve been attacked by 3 at once one night walking home. I started spinning around like a ballerina whilst still walking just flinging my foot out at their heads. Like I said, keep em occupied on your feet. They basically walked me home that night. They lost interest when I got into a lit area. I suspect these cunts to have nearly killed my dog about 5 years ago. My dad and I were walking our German Shep and out of nowhere 3 dogs get it. Two at the legs and one at the throat. The look on my dogs face after a while was like “kill me now” and it hurt to see him look at me like this. A guy pulled over in a ute (pickup truck) and started beeping his horn. I grabbed a shovel from the tray my old man is screaming at me NO NO I clobbered one it took off and I put the blade on the one around the neck on his hind leg, I drove my weight into it. YELP YELP YELP!!! It hobbled off. One more to go. Coward, couldn’t fight by himself. 

Grr that day. I haven’t thought about it in a few years. I’m pissed off now!
