Budder is a concentrated form of THC, the main psychoactive chemical in cannabis (marijuana) that contains up to 99.7% THC and 5% – 15% total cannabinoids (THC/CBN/CBD),[1] several times more potent than the buds of the cannabis plant that are usually consumed (5%–25 %). Never heard that slang word for it before. Then again, it looks like most people haven’t heard of smoking oil before, judging by the recent vice video that tried to be groundbreaking.
I still use the cookie tray method of making it, myself. Learned that when I was 14.

The biggest problem with it, is what people put into it after the process is completely finished. I imagine the same can be done with things like co2 as well. It’s a man made process and we know how that can fuck things up. That reason alone I refuse to buy it and make it myself.
The honey and cherry comes from pure bud, but you’d be surprised what you can get out of a few garbage bags of shake( the leaves left over after you pick the bud) and stems. With a nice sprinkle of an ounce of bud or two ;)

Getting 100% of the butane out is impossible. Even shatter has small traces. I’m smoking on CO2 extracted Wheelchair Kush oil tonight. Amazing bouquet on this, it was processed by Cannlabs Inc, their dedication to purity is matched by none.

Yea, I definitely don’t have a laboratory, but I did have mine tested out of curiosity a few years ago. There wasn’t much to detect other than THC. Sitting in any metropolis traffic jam, with the windows down for a few hours is easily worse for you. I’m in Canada and it doesn’t look like we’re getting that high tech with it anytime soon, so I gotta stick with what I feel is best for the time being.
Plus butane, leaf, stem, sprinkle of bud = lots of money! Regular smokers of it can tell if it’s been made properly. There’s a strange aftertaste if you don’t.

the other problem when making it if you’re not experienced besides not properly cooking the butane out of it, is you can blow yourself up. The fumes can hurt you badly too…ventilation is key.
