Ok, so our anniversary is October 25th. This is our 7 year mark, the longest relationship for each of us. Which is a pretty cool thing, cant believe the girl has put up with me for that long! Anyways shes really into mental health, im into older architecture, and were both pretty interested in actual haunted stuffs. So yesterday after work we started our journey to the Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum. As stated here https://faygoluvers.net/v5/forum/psychopathic-music/fearless-fred-fury-official-discussion-thread/page-39/#p220873 our road trips go one of three ways. Luckily there was no poop talk, but there was a full hour of detailed elderly lady care. After me driving for 2 hours and getting her to a long stretch i handed the wheel over to her and proceeded to get comfy in the passenger seat. At which point she turned on the ipod on and no lie Miyahe Miyaha was about the second song to be played. We both laughed hysterically at this and i was out pretty quickly. We make it to our hotel, get unpacked, and decide a ribs and steak joint would be an amazing choice for dinner. We both got a half rack of 12 hour smoked ribs and fries/onion rings. Pretty good i must say. Shout out to Hickory House in Jane Lew, WV. After full bellies and the car ride back to the hotel and some cuddle time we were both out by 10 o'clock. My 7 a.m alarm woke me up and here we are. Newports, coffee, and faygoluvers to entertain my morning till we start our journey to the asylum.
To be continued...

Currently sitting in the car warming up and smoking. 48 degrees outside and feels even cooler inside the building. Long drafty hallways with windows slightly ajar in many of the rooms. Just seen some dude walking in wearing khaki shorts and birkenstocks. Im "turtle necking" with jeans, long socks, t-shirt, and a hoodie.
Our tour starts in 40 mins, wooo!

Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum review for juggalos by a singular juggalo.
First off there is something like 9 acres of living space alone, over a starting area of "6 hundred and 66 acres". There were 3 cemetaries on the property and more than a handful of buildings. The face of the main building was just short of a quarter of a mile in length. Emense place as most of todays buildings are built for height, not width. They say the hand cut stone construction is between 1 foot 6 inches thick to 2 feet 6 inches. Once the property was closed it sat vacant for 12 years and was offered to the city for $1, the city could afford the one dollar but could not afford renovations. The next step was to put it up for auction where it went for $1.5 million. (Check the cliff notes version to skip the majority of eh)
Let me take a step back and say after walking through the main doors we went straight to the gift shop then to the ticket booth. We asked for the tour with the most ground coverage and the best experience available. They said VIP at $35 each and we were sold. But had three hours to kill before our group left. We asked what we could see free roam and the lady said 6 rooms this way and 6 rooms down that hall. She also suggested that maybe we could go outside, play around in the rain, maybe mud wrestle, and rinse off in the fountain. We chose the inside route. There were mainly things found in the hospital once the new owner purchased it. From tools used in the stone cutting, to steamer trunks used when bringing patients to the hospital, to medicine bottles used, to an amputation saw and lobotomy kit used by doctors. At this point it was a little underwelming but interesting enough to still anticipate the VIP tour. It felt like it was lacking the deplorable condition of the patients.
This is where the previous post was made at sit down, warm up and smoke time. (Please see above)
Then came the guided tour, OOOOH!
At the beginning of the tour our guide gave a head count aloud with the total members of our group being 17, I whooped on the inside. Our tour guide Amy was clever and witty. She gave her schpeal about a lot of what we see will be reproduction, donated, or some other knock off version of what used to be. This is where i asked about what the property was bought for. After her reply was 1.5 million my reply was "thats insane" as to which her reply was "well this is the right place for it." She sold me at the beginning. After that it became a routine shtick. Were going to go down this hall then this one and the next and the non chalant vip tour became mundane, we just had longer to do it. A lot of the floors and wings looked the same. Just segrated for ladies and men. Our tour also included the doctors and the nurses living quarters which were remodeled. Down one of the hallways i noticed cigarette butts on one of the window sills, i started getting excited for a newport break but nobody else said anything, so we kept walking. The next room we entered had a pile of cigarettes on the floor with at least 2 decks of playing cards. I knew there was some significance to this after seeing that. We were told that the former patients used to be rewarded for good behavior with cigarettes and candy. Aparently the same goes for the afterlife. When a ghost hunter tour guide talks to the "spirits" they offer cigarettes and candy as a reward for communicating. I havent seen this on the many ghost hunter episodes ive watched. I thought this was really neat. I emptied my pockets of change in respect and we went on. The next room had a larger pile and i felt like i should have saved some from the last room. Further down the hall we were intorduced to a room dubbed as "Emily's room" there were many toys scattered about, candy melted to the floor, and a bottle of coke with the name Emily on it. Someone wanted to "share a coke with emily". I thought that was pretty cute as well as funny. While in this room the Mrs said she felt the back of her neck getting warmer. Paranormal? Perhaps... Like i said is the place was 9 acres of living space and when i got behind our guide i asked if the entire place was heated while it was operational and she said yes. I again said "thats insa" and stopped myself before i could finish. She caught me on this and we both giggled. Another lady from the group asked about the morgue and the basement and both were off limits, aparently they dont actually know where the morgue is but speculate a section is close to the area where the floor ramps instead of having stairs. The basement supposedly was off limits due to no remodel attempts and the walls and ceiling are falling in. And that about concludes our tour of the Kirkbride building. Which concludes the entire tour, cause thats all we did.
Cliff notes start here:
If I were to do this again i would definitely set aside more time and more money. Our tour gave much history and many other persons paranormal experiences but we had none of our own. We were thoroughly informed of a couple killings they are aware of, one which was covered up by the nurses so they were not deemed as accomplices nor neglectful. They found a hanged patient, cleaned the blood from his body, and hung him up again. Another case of murder was a group of roomates hung another by tying a bed sheet around his neck, throwing the opposite end over a water pipe, and repeatedly raising and lowering him in and out of consiousness. After which a headboard was placed on his eye socket and jumped on till it hit the floor. Pretty gory shit!
I personally would have liked to have seen more of the grounds. I would have also really enjoyed a free roam option that they do not have. An overnight ghost tour would be great in tempuratures way above 48 degrees. Bring money, warm clothes, change, candy and cigarettes.
Sometime during the tour i started a sneezing fit that continued in the car on the ride home. Mandy says "maybe you sniffed up an orb, you better blow that shit out before we get home".
During the tour i seen a few things that made me think od things ive read here on the forums about each of you. That list is as follows...
@our fellow druggies, they gave that shit away back in the day for free along with turpentine! Who doeant want heroin and turpentine?
@Masterweedo, in the war room there was an excerpt from 1957 in a book that a yacht club took random things from the storehouse
@Spookithefungi, i didnt get the shirt but i did think of ya pal.
@mr infection, ladies could be admitted for almost any reason and can only be taken back by the person that admitted them. We will all help and agree to whatever reason you choose. (@Mrs asphuck im only kidding)
@Bonesaw Wizardstick, a man was admitted because he thought someone was hiding his beer from him
@steelcitydahmer, bare with me man this is gonna be mind blowing. Ok, we were driving up 79 and it seemed like a very long road watching my GPS. I didnt want it to be that long so i, with my 2 fingers, scrunched the entire town to an area of 4x3 inches on my phone. I did this and honked at exactly 5:45. So if you house got squished and you heard a loud honk, IT WAS US! I tried making it normal size again. If i erred i hope it was on the positive side.

SO THAT'S WHY MY STREET HAD A MORE PARKING THAN USUAL! Thanks bud
Haha sounds like you had a rad trip, duder! Where was this at? Don't lie to us either. We know you whoop'd audibly when you hear you have 17 people in your party.
I was in Vegas 1.5 weeks ago and I hit 17 on the roulette, along with the color and row and I whooped hard.

I always say I'm afraid of nothing.
But that can't poooooooosibly be true can it?
No it can't, at least not for me, I have one huge phobia and I'm trying to find something to make me disgusted.
My phobia is my hands getting damaged (ruining my guitar playing and computer usage), or getting something like throat cancer. I would rather take a chainsaw to the stomach while getting raped by a disfigured and deformed slobbering monster with a needle full of pure capsaicin in my tongue and 36 non-lethal bullet shots in my head than either of those things. At least that would spare me the agony of killing myself after losing the only things I value.
I'm trying hard to scare myself tomorrow.
If anyone knows one they think will work on me, tells me.

What disgusts me is body fluids, except for blood. I can clean up small amounts easily. Never tried a large mess of blood. I also get a little queezy watching people on tv eat weird things. I fear heights that i can control. Like i hated redoing our roof three years ago, my ass was tied to the chimney. Went to the top of the empire state building and i shimmied around it like i was on a ledge. But we rode every roller coaster at cedar point in one day. Harnessed in i was fine with the heights.

I'm still young enough to go trick or treating bitches.
I'm dressed as Rena Ryuugu from higurashi (its a gorey ass anime)
I'm gonna stay in character and lose my mind and start killing people because I'm too far away from my hometown.
I wore the costume to school, and to a party yesterday, at the party 1 person knew who my costume was. She was pretty cool.

I worked 10 to close all Halloween.. I scheduled the parent coworkers to either be off or only work the day shift so that they could do Halloween activities with their families in the afternoon or night. My wife took my girls all over to do Halloween stuff. My youngest was a witch and my oldest, Lotus, was a homemade lotus flower! Shit was dope.
Finally got to bump my Halloween Mix Version 6 at work. It went largely unnoticed but I dig it. I'm really enjoying this Ramones track more and more now. One customer kept turning and watching it with a look of either "I KNOW I've heard this before, but where?!?" or "this is something different, I think I like it!"
