You're right about nothing changing but for different reasons if you ask me. When I say I'm American I'm not talking about my government. Governments are oppressive by nature. It's the way things are. Culture norms and societies change but the government will always be there breathing down your neck.

I'm not very informed on what's going on there, so it is possible I guess that natives are being targeted because of their ancestory, but more likely because they are sitting on coveted lands. The cause of most of all conflicts throughout history.

I think kids should be taught the truth about Thanksgiving in school or else get rid of the criteria completely. It could just be renamed Family Thankfulness Day, and just focus on that stuff, minus the Columbus, pillaging, nastiness.

Because we're not really celebrating being thankful by gorging ourselves with food with insufferable family as less fortunate people starve. (not that mine was that bad) We are celebrating the slaughter of the natives. So this is a holiday you should feel white guilt. Or just eat the fucking turkey and don't think too much on it. Happy Thanksgiving all. Whatever your views are on the matter i hope you can all enjoy the day off with family nearby. 

I don't even like turkey. Ham, chicken, and deer. My views on the matter, it's America and it's fucked up and we don't give a fuck. I sure as hell don't, the past don't even exist.
