Im not political at all but, ive heard many statements for and against Trump's second term. I can see Spookys view being legit. Trump won the vote as being the popular vote. Hes a tv drama queen, how could he not win? The next go to would have been RuPaul or the most relevant mousekateer. Would your Canadian POV have been the same if this was the case?

I could see those against trump winning next term, then saying WTF and going back towards Trump in 2024, unless that same mousekateer runs against him and wins...

To me, being non political, sees the govt as being a, who has the most money/who is the most popular/who is the most 'Oooooh' at the moment. Jesse Ventura and Arnold Schwarzenegger were in office because they were a known party. 'Hey i know that guy, lets push the like button'.

Im only going there beforehand to say the United States wasnt ready to accept all of the freedoms that its granted over the past. Weve sooo changed since the days of Lincoln. We cant even keep up with ourselves right now. Commercials get banned because they say a word or skip a word. Really, a 15 second slot on tv offemds 1 peraon, its spread via social media, and it translates to a gazillion dollar pay off to someone. The US is fucked man, a singular persons opinion is spread way too far and out of hand with a 'like' button. Im sure this goes with many other countries also.

Thats why i stay with what i know. I make sure im good, my girl is good, my animals are good, and to hell with the rest. I know no matter what popular guy/gal is in office i still have to wake up and go to work tomorrow. A favorites saying of mine is 'i was looking for a job when i found this one'.  No matter how the world changes around me i still have to take care of mine. Everything outside my door is something i can't control, i.e. politics. Do what you gotta do but im gonna keep doing me.

I think it's possible that he can con America again. He lied about protecting people's Healthcare. He lied about protecting people's jobs. He used blatent white supremacy to get his base angry and it worked. 

It could work again.  The electoral college is set up to give Republicans a chance. Without it, we wouldn't have had a republican president since Ghwb.

He's actively destroying protection for people that we've managed to squeeze through the corrupt system. Things, which are flawed and not ideal, that have allowed for us to be what we are. 

Trump is appointing people into positions of power which they are antithetical to. So, people who want to destroy public schooling are in charge of public schooling. People who make money off destroying the environment are now the head of the EPA. He's done this top to bottom. And he's told his people to plunder the budgets. He's told them to rip off the government. To commit fraud on you and me and everybody else.

There are 'dry' counties and more 'dry' states. Pennsylvania is a bit more conservitive and can only sell beer at certain places. Ohio is way more lenient and i can pick it up at Dollar General up the road. Ive been against wines and champagnes for a long time. I handed out some Australian 'Woop Woop' wine at last years gathering and it was terrible. But i wanted to share 'Woops'. After a few glasses the taste goes away. I killed a bottle one night when i made my jenga board and almost lost a hand, i didnt notice till the Mrs woke me up. The sleep is amazing tho. Im not a connesour of any sorts but the moscatos are smooth, go down nice and easy, and taste pretty good.
