Hafta disagree on that one. Sure we have a bunch of crazy mother fuckers( a whole fucking bunch) but the degree of savagery, to me, isnt nearly as bad as sawing peoples heads off on camera and hanging people from cranes in town squares. Why do they hate us so much? My lebron james simile wasnt a satisfying answer for me. The thing I keep coming back to is they are still living thousands of years in the past as far as their ideology goes. They hate us because we are a melting pot of innovation, and the rest of the world soaks up and emulates our culture. Our women are seen as equals and we arent as sexually repressed and they cant fucking stand it.

More to the topic at hand, I found out something about myself. When I first heard about the shooting I immediately pictured a white dude, but when I found out it was multiple suspects I immediately pictured brown people. I cant help it and idk if that makes me a bad person or not.

A dude walked into a black church, prayed with them for an hour, and then killed 9 people.

The dude who killed 15 people yesterday (one of whom was a teacher at my school) was storing pipe bombs in his home and stockpiling weapons. He got into an argument at a fucking christmas party and came back in order to murder innocent people at a fucking christmas party at a building that works with developmentally disabled people.

We grow people plenty fucked up here. 

And as for why “they” hate us, it’s American propaganda that they hate us because of our wealth and innovation and diversity and freedom and all of that shit. Simply put, they hate us because they hate everything and our constant involvement in their communities makes the west a very easy target. We drop bombs on fucking hospitals, we block food and water from getting to poor villages that need it, we murder democratically elected officials and place dictators into power.

Meanwhile, we run around killing ourselves and shooting up schools, and burning churches, and bombing medical facilities in our own back yards, then we plug our ears when we try to talk about climate change and we make it so that less than 1% of reported rapes ends in a conviction, and we sit around for months after a gay man is raped and murdered trying to figure out if it was a hate crime. 

and god damn you if you point out that it’s incredibly easy to get guns in our nation and that even terrorists can walk into a gun show and walk out with assault weapons without a background check or waiting period.

Our species is dysfunctional and our nation is broken.
