But, depending on what part you liked, just cut the middle man and go to the people he ripped his ideas from because his bastardized interpretations don't do justice to them.
Its basically all of it. The only things i don't really buy into is shit like magic.
But the morals, ethics, way of life parts of the church.

Nietzsche. I recommend Nietzsche.
Would never in my life recommend Ayn Rand to anybody. I think our martyr fetish is kind of weird and these altruistic fantasies are overrated but life is too nuanced to be completely anti altruism.
The magick is ripped from Crowley but so bastardized that the occult folk had to reject them. Crowley is cool though. I don't believe in magick but I do like the core ideas behind 'Do What Thou Wilt' and 'As Above, So Below' which is actually from Hermes.

See, I don't believe in magic. but the ideas interest me. I've studied Vodun, Thelema, Wicca, Norse Peganism, etc..

Unpopular Opinions: Zelda Ocarina of Time, The Godfather and The Irishman are awful.
lol I haven't seen that last one but Ocarina and Godfather are fucking awesome. I could understand someone thinking Godfather is boring, but to me its a slow burn and I fuckin love it. Its drama done right. And Ocarina being awful is literally batshit crazy lol. I dont have time to point out all the little nerdy nuances that make both of these things amazing. Maybe one day but not today.
I like to put them in the "overrated for a reason" category with the likes of Lord of the Rings, Pink Floyd, The Great Milenko and anything Kubrick or Stephen King has ever done. In fact, with the exception of like three books King can go fuck himself. And fuck It especially. The book and the movies.

@Pigg you have any intentions on hitting a New Years ball drop while over there?
@Smack you ever made it to one in Canada?
We just got situated to watch the ABC ball drop from Time Square and they keep showing scenes from around the world.
Anyone ever seen it first hand?
Neither me or The Mrs. has, but we've both talked about it at length. One of these years well make it.
Edit: I didnt know there was this...

this new years I am doing nothing at all and I love it just drinking a case of blue dry and smoking some herb while catching up on TV
I don't think we even have a ball drop I know there are fireworks and a free concert and giant Ferris wheel all kinds of celebrations but I can't recall a ball drop not since I was like 11 years old anyway.
also at midnight it will be my 39th birthday, but me and my homies are gonna celebrate that this Saturday we are all getting old and have families now and shit so to get together on new years eve is hard these days
around midnight I will go downstairs drink a glass of bubbly with my mom and sister probably eat cake and then back to catching up on TV

It was a hasty choice of wording to call them all "awful"... "overrated and/or haven't stood the test of time well" would be appropriate. I respect and admire the hard work and acting and everything else involved, and the revolutionary leaps of the Zelda game... I just recently tried to play Ocarina and man I hated it.
My brother would be turning over in his grave if he heard me say that i hated Ocarina. He was solidly confident that it was the best game ever made (and that Lord of the Rings was the best trilogy ever).
Yeah, but "The Irishman" was beyond dull. No replay value. Overrated as fuck. Want a good Scorcese movie from the last ten years, then watch "The Departed" of "The Wolf of Wall Street".
For me, Zelda for NES and SNES are much more fulfilling and replayable.
So I'm glad I got us all talking about anything besides Islam and Muslims. Let's keep it up, RZArect this thread!
I'm drinking some beer after having some margaritas. Vaping because I'm too lazy to go and smoke joints in the cold. Watched the ball drop in NY on YouTube with my wife and oldest (youngest passed out lol).
One more overrated movie: "The Social Network". Why the fuck was the so well-reviewed? I just dont get things sometimes.

Still one of my favorite consoles. Are there any "must have" games you're looking for?
Do you have a local retro game store with decent prices?
Sorry pal I missed this one. Must have games are the ones that bring back old memories. I want Contra cause my mom and I played the hell out of it. Pin Bot cause me and my dad had head to head battles over the leader board. Mom was a huge fan of Tetris and Dr. Mario so I tried to top her score.
We have The Exchange over here, and a few of them. Lots of old systems and games. Prices aren't anything too ridiculous, even though I haven't looked anywhere else.
I really dont know what our next purchase will be. Probably just going to decide right then and there.
Are you looking for anything, I can keep an eye out?
