sure enough, right around the time i saw this post, i was asking myself why i bother, when all its doing is giving me reasons to reevaluate my levels of respect for pat, smack, and tkx2.  

but what the hell.  at this point, im probably the only person that can say ive read everything in the forum.  its worth grinding through this shit just to keep that going.  can be tough sometimes, though.

thats true of about half the threads we see here.  superfluous repetitive groundhog day-like sniping doesnt give me pause;  what does is the fact that, in the end, im wasting time reading the shit just to have a lower opinion of the writers.  

far as the myob thing…  if this was really none of our business, you guys have picked an absolutely unsuitable place to air it out.  once something is posted on the forum, its everybodys business, until they decide they dont care.  

smack and pat could quite easily carry on like this via private messages, thus sparing us from these tiresome antics, and preventing the casual public from thinkin that they [and by extension, the rest of us] are drama-mongering twits.  

every now and again, when i wanna spit a little venom, but not in a public way, ill do it via pm.  usually works out fine; tends to lead to discussion, rather than more argument.  i officially dare smack and/or pat to try it.  if yall got the testes.  

in any case, yall have put up hundreds [in pats case, maybe over a thousand] posts about the same silly shit, on an incredibly regular schedule.  if you didnt wanna hear about it, youd just, ya know, stop.    

one last bit:  the ‘hall monitor’ metaphor doesnt really work.  we moderationists are much more akin to the janitorial staff.
