Honestly, to me, it sounds like you and your lady had some communication issues. Maybe it was her fault, maybe it was your fault, in reality, you were probably both to blame a little bit.
If you don't want someone ordering for you at a restaurant, tell them that! Let them know that it makes you uncomfortable, and explain why. If you have a good reason, they're a reasonable person, and they actually care about you, they will probably try and stop doing it.
Personally, I don't understand why you would even care.

I don't think @the-warlock is even Mexican. Maybe he does have Mexican citizenship but I don't think he does.

the restaurant thing was an example of something a lot of women do.. not something I had an issue with.. I had my ex on her best behavior whenever we ordered food.. cause I nipped it in the bud..

Alright, that sounds a lot better than bashing all women. Maybe just take your time with ladies and be ready to run away. Take the small cues that its not gonna work and say so early on. Some shit can be looked past, some cant. Thats for you to decide.

I thought this was going to be a thread of introspection.
I've learned a lot about myself the past few years. Like how guilt and shame is the most effective way to break me down because it was something my child abusing parents exploited to manipulate or shift blame on to me. Which might have something to do with my tendency to over analyze the flaws and moral short comings of others as if I'm on a higher standing because it serves as a way to try and obscure the undeserved existential shame I gained from my childhood by convincing myself I'm some how superior even in the face of my own depravity.
Self awareness and understanding why you are who you are doesn't really resolve anything or promise growth it often times leaves you to helplessly watch yourself fall into the same predictable cycle of terrible behavior like a passenger in a nightmarish predestined roller coaster of hate, depression and mania that is isolating no matter how many friends and relationships you have.
I also learned that I like Sushi.
