I found out my cat is a diabetic, i now have to inject it with insuline twice a day and can’t go on a holliday. It would be a lot easier and cheaper to have it put down, but i love him too much , he’s like a son.

nah, republicans don't give a fuck about the child once it's born. they're not pro-life, they're pro-birth. thats why don't care if the child has healthcare, or food, or a safe place to live. because helping out a person who can't take care of their own children would be socialism.

I don't agree with Stalin and he was fairly corrupt afaik, but the idea that the USSR was this poverty stricken hell hole that let it's people starve is just untrue. It's capitalist propaganda that has been pushed into the mainstream consciousness by, of course, private interests and our competition with them that also probably came from private interest.

Some places, like Russia, believe that millions starved in the great depression and of course nobody second guesses it.

Speaking of, the great depression was riddled with the same kind of mass starvation and the great depression wasn't caused by a drought but literally capitalism it's self. The stock market crashed, we lost jobs and despite having the resources, unlike the USSR, people still had to go with out. Except, of course, the private industry that corruptly rules capitalism and has all the money. The only reason people didn't die was because of the socialist programs we had in place.
