I’m sure I’m not the only person out here who has a friend who just doesn’t want to realize truth about certain things because, you know, the truth hurts. I have a friend at work who has a slow ass kid man, he’s borderline retarded. You know, the type of kid who shows up on bring your kid to work day and starts trying to eat the toner cartridges. But he always has an excuse, he’s tired, he’s been sick, he’s not himself when he’s hungry, dude, he’s slow!!! I tried to explain this today and dude got all upset, so he brought it out to the rest of the building saying Pat Joyce said my kid is slow, isn’t he an asshole? That may be true, but your kid is still slow. I’m tired of pussy footing around the subject, I figured I would let him know, maybe recommend a few programs that may help the little dude out. That might seem harsh, but nobody else is telling him. Seriously, they all backed him up and said yup, Patrick’s wrong, I can’t believe he would say that, and just what the hell is wrong with him? They all know he’s slow, I’m not the only person who’s seen him walking around the building with a sandwich in one hand and a toner cartridge in the other, shit smeared all over his face and they had to rush him to poison control, it’s easier to agree with him than with me. I never wanted to get the building involved in the first place. No, he’s not slow dude, he’s 12 years old and everytime I drive by your house he’s standing on the front lawn in his underwear eating graham crackers, that shit ain’t right, get that fuckin kid looked at. My point is this, why are people so reluctant to tell people the truth? It might seem like I’m being an asshole by telling him that his son is slow, but I feel like an even bigger asshole going along with agreeing that he’s not. This is probably what warlock’s friends go through when he plays his music in front of them, yeah dude that’s the shit, good flow, you a real MC. If people told him the truth long ago they could save him some embarrassment. Know what I mean? We all need to start being more honest with others, not lying for the sake of their feelings. I’m not husky, I’m not festively plump, I’m fat bitch. Stop telling me I look like I lost weight, you see me eating big macs for breakfast, you know I didn’t lose shit. Let’s start telling some of these muthafuckas the truth and we won’t be such a politically correct society full of pussies, we can save the world people. Start telling others the truth, it hurts, but it’s still the truth. This is the one way to make change, let’s stop worrying about other people’s feelings and take this society back to where we could smoke in public without people saying were infringing on their civil rights.
