Yes.

People are naturally scared of change especially unfamiliar change and it always tends to result in those people using hyperbole or straight up lies to fear monger a protest to that change.

In this case it's despicably some of the most privileged whining ever. I don't want Muslims looking for safety to come HERE because their culture makes me uncomfortable and I don't want that element mixing in with the local culture I already know.

I just can't drum up the sympathy to give a shit about how uncomfortable that change makes people.

I figured that it has more to do with that direction being the way we read and how we play in video games. More of a subconscious decision than conscious.

And I think it's fairly obvious with their politics that they definitely are not right wing and I think they've vocalized being anti Trump.

I was raised in a village with a population of 5000 inhabitants. In front of my parents' house, right across the street, half a mile away, they opened up an accomodation for refugees in an old school building. From 2015-2018 up to 800 refugees lived there at the same time. Some had to go back to their home country, some were placed to different locations and so on. But in that time span, they were using that building, there wasn't a single problem in my parents' neighborhood. Happens, true story.

On the other hand in other cities, different crimes happened, horrible things like rape and murder. Yes. But because of that it's not possible to prejudge all refugees, the majority of them are just humans, looking for a brighter future. I won't say a country must receive refugees, but I dont get why obviously so many guys (like you, smack) are so full of hate and prejudices against such a large group of human beings (-> muslims). These prejudices cause more problems in society than anything else.
Speaking about problems. Currently I'm living in that area in Berlin, Germany, where more different nationalities are home to than in any other area or city in Germany. A significant part of them are muslims that have different home countries, and the only thing that is certain to say is that it simply does not depend on the religion if you get along with somebody or not. There's a lot of different types and kinds of people, assholes and good folks, and a lot of problems, too. Sure. But there is not that one type of a muslim that represents all of them, that would form this one kind of a society, if they could. I do not understand why so many conservatives, it seems, dont get that.
Friends of mine are muslims and are fighting over the same topics with other muslims like we do, secularization and so on.

Again, I dont deny that theres a lot of problems to be solved. It's just stupid to think that "the muslims" are all bad and all fundamentally religious and all about to establish a caliphate if they only get the slightest chance to do so.

When I did graphic design for club DJs in Orlando one asked if Psyral could pose as the artist when we met with the Muslim club owners, cuz they wouldn't do business with a woman. We did it at the time, possibly because I gave zero fux. Today I wouldn't comply. FUCK SHARIA LAW. FUCK IT TO DEATH. 

P.S. My family's karate dojo is mostly Muslim and the instructors are cool af. Guess the gold standard in any culture is Breaking Bad's DBAA
