https://brobible.com/culture/article/utah-liquor-stores-pouring-beer-drain/

Finally, Utah will follow in Colorado's footsteps from last year, and begin to sell regular strength alcohol outside of just liquor stores!

Lucem is the obvious one we need to chat with here. Thoughts? Gripes?

I know that the local liquor store owners in this eastern Colorado area were mortified by the new rule. I still shop at their stores now and then (the one old man is the only on who has Molson and Labatts, for instance) but I admit it is more convenient for me to shop at a gas station for light beer if I'm already there anyway.

The truth is, these stores will survive. Some may not. But overall this is a step in the right direction. Religious influencers should not be in charge of anything in our country. Because some Mormons run the state is what I consider a form of First-World Tyranny. Putting pointless limits on something that is ultimately trivial and unimportant.

Few years back a liquor store owner from Nebraska came in to buy and said that the Colorado and surrounding legalization has affected his business a bit. More access to herb reduces alcoholism somewhat. And opiate abuse, but that is another story. But anyway, the old guy says "it affects my business, but I don't care. It's all for the better".

He gets it.

I work in PA but live in Ohio.

PA has pretty strict beer rules. It took a petition for one of our large chain gas stations to sell beer. It passed but it wasnt given to all locations.

In Ohio i can buy Four Lokos and many wine brands at the local gas stations. I can buy beer at each of the 3 Dollar Generals and both save a lots within 5 minutes from my front door. However it takes a distributor or a restaurant to sell hard liquor. I believe what keeps each of them going is what brands they carry, gas prices, or other items the store carries.

Lucem, bro, you feeling alright? I didnt mean to give you shit about word count. Well i did but i was kidding. Hope your good pal.

Yeah bitches, im that short gentleman mentioned in that youtube video.

And the very nice, level headed guy from that other youtube video.

I just didn't have anything to really say about it. It's great for the brewery because hopefully that means they don't have to make two brews of certain beers.

They may. We went to a brew house tonight and all of the microbrews were from Ohio. I dont know if thats because of the place or because of laws. There may be a something that stop it at the line. Maybe taxes or regulations? I could be wrong though because the stuff i normally look for are bigger names. Its only become more recent for me to grab something sporadic.
