I thought about Drunkalo but I am a little concerned that he would delete non-advertisement spam posts because he doesn't like the content or the name of the person posting. I may be wrong on this but that is just my opinion. Not that my say will matter. All the names of people who show interest will be passed along.
My take on Pigg is that he will be objective. He and I don't see eye to eye on almost all things but that doesn't matter to be a moderator. As scruffy said to me when I became a mod, It is basically just a janitor. I think scruffy even had that in his profile for a short bit.
As I have mentioned, the candidate does not need any qualifications other that the ability separate their personal views from moderator duties. I have attempted to keep this distinction as best I can. The plus for Pigg is that he is up and available for most of the timespan that we need moderator activity.

I personally don't believe his vote, or anyone's vote, in that should matter. That was an opinion poll. I voted for Smack not to be banned but in the end I am the one who was instructed to ban him. I was not happy about it but my personal opinion does not play into moderation activities. ... Imagine what the forum would be like if my personal opinions dictated what posts I deleted.

As stated in the first post the position is mainly to clear spam, porn, or illegal links. Im capable of that.
What designates the separation of church and state with deleting spam? Is there acceptable church/state spam? What about church porn? What if its a post stating churches? Or a church for a state? The confusion!

The separation of Church and State is just a figure of speech. It's more accurate to say separation of personal opinion from objective duties.
My reluctance about throwing my support to you over Pigg has to do with that and that his availability fits the midnight to 6am timeslot a little better. If you feel you can be objective and not let personal preferences dictate your actions, then I don't see why you would not be a good choice also. The decision is up to Scottie. My opinion on all of it does not matter. Your name will be passed on to @scottied with no prejudice on my part.
One recent example of the Church and State thing would be with KuKluxKlown. I do not like his posts, his name, or his avatar. But that is not grounds for deleting his posts. Another would be the recent threats of violence towards me and my wife by JuggaloJ. He said he and his crew were going to find us at the Gathering and beat us down because he disagrees with us politically. Again, no post deletions. If you can stay objective and only delete posts that are advertisement spam, porn, and illegal download links, then I don't have a problem with you taking up moderator duties.

My suggestion of adding an additional moderator does not have to be limited to just one. Scottie may decide that more than one is OK. Decision is up to him.

I am not sure on that one. While I find some things posted on here as unwanted information, others find those posts relevant or interesting. The reverse is also true.

I don't know, man. Maybe ask the people who came up with the rules? Because that can be justifiably used to circumvent your "church and state" thing very easily.

But with the threads that KKK clown creates, it's spam, it's all bullshit. I would delete them but some of you post in his threads. Let the threads die. Fuck his posts and anything he's gotta say.
As for a new mod, cool. Someone more available during the night time is cool, evening, days, whatever. A new addition would be fine. Someone who isn't risking any jail time and being watched by big brother is good too.

Well.... I'm on here 3-4 nights a week, usually can get on between 5pm and 5am central time, am neutral to most all bullshit (KKKlown irritates me but nothing I would take to the point of deleting..... sadly), and nobody likes or dislikes me LOL. for real though, if nobody can agree on somebody im available.
