Sound a lot like confirmation bias. Our brains tend to forget the time when the time scenario doesn't fit (you see the time but don't notice it). But when that time hits, even if it is in your peripheral vision, you will sub-consciously take focus. You start forming a "mental rut" where due to the coincidental feeling, your neural pathways for recognizing that event are reinforced....

... Or maybe it's magic!

It's magic cause I'm looking at 4 clocks in my place and they all read 3am. Could be just a schedule I guess but I don't know. If I wake up bloody again I'll let ya'll know. My place of residence is haunted too so waking up every night at the same time usually weirds me out. I believe Casper is somewhere in the house.

I had once thought that there was something to it. I used to see 11:11 every time I looked at the clock. Finally I realized the clock just needed new batteries.

Last night I dreamt I was working on something outside with my dad, when suddenly Hopsin drove by in a mammoth gas truck and told me I could drive. So I drove down the country road all crazy and almost crashed but didn't.. I don't even like Hopsin.

Hopsin said you could drive, but the whole time you were driving Hopsin was on Twitter complaining about how difficult it was to let other people drive and how they almost crash his gas truck and life is so hard for him driving a gas truck and that everyone needs to leave him alone.

Some rappers are never content I guess hahahaha

Anyway I checked my DreamMoods app and it had "driver training" as a symbol on there. Something routine about life spiraling out of control or whatever. The good thing was I ALMOST crashed at the end but I didn't wreck and Hopsin said I did well. So hopefully that is my simplified life prophecy lol

Dream symbols have some merit. They are your brain's way of trying to sort out the day and whatnot. I give them just a bit more attention than just for entertainment, like astrology. Astrology is weird, because we a know its not valid, yet sometimes it can completely nail a person's persona. My Scorpio friend, for one, and her relationship with my Capricorn self. Several different sources said the same things about our relationship, so true that is was astounding. But other Scorpios I know aren't that way at all. So entertaining yes, like numerology, but I'm still skeptical for most of it. If portions pop out that are unavoidably astute, then I'll give it credit. Whether its just a lucky guess or there is really something to it.

Cue the people saying astrology is 100% wrong and that I'm an idiot for believing or just acknowledging a lucky guess.

Happy belated.

My last couple nights dreams have inolved black bears attacking me in a jeep and minotaurs. Pretty tame for me but at least I remembered them.. see I'm a big beer drinker but I've been trying out sobriety for a bit to recooperate my health and sleep. Its hard for me to sleep without passing out from beers, no matter how hard my day was physically. But when I do, woowhee the nutty REM theatre begins!

Tonight I cleaned 32 toilets between four different businesses. SHINYYYYYYY

The exceptional amount of drugs i ingested before my brain fully developed has left me in the same spot OMD... I use a rotating concoction of Melatonin, Tylonol PM, and good old fashioned Chamomile Tea (varying degrees based on the duration of sleep available)  to ensure my not dreaming vivid night terrors...Tylonol PM helps me pass out hard enough not to dream and but makes me groggy (Not as bad as shit like Trizadone and Ambiem which I could have scrips for but don't like) Melatonin is hit or miss as far as dreams, but it helps you pass out for sure...When I turn around (Close then open) I just have hot tea and shut down all the electronics in the house to decrease artificial light...except my alarm clock of course...

I've never tried to seek help as it doesn't happen often enough to cause too many  issues I hope... have you tried Valerian Root? I dunno the guy mentioned it for Tyler Durden when he had insomnia... my oldest daughter sleeps in our bed and can get agitated enough to get me sleeping on the couch, which can usually out me out lately. Its just that on certain nights I relieve tragedies and its lame. Right now those memory movies don't have any affect on me, but sometimes you just recoil.

Valerian root if I remember correctly is the base for Valium...granted thats like saying a chimp is the base for a human...ive had homies that use it for sleep too...

I also have homies in Westeros who use the same guys who grow it to make swords...I hear they can slay white walkers...

I had a dream I was being stared at, and everwhere I go, I would look over, and that same person is staring at me, expressionless.

I'll fuck you till you love me, Faggot!

ive had dreams like that.

just wondering, does anyone else enjoy nightmares?

by that, i mean dreams that most people would consider nightmares.  i occasionally have bad dreams that are incredibly unpleasant, but most of them are like, i dunno, exciting movies or something.

also, a quick survey:  when you have a falling dream [the classic 'fall from a great height' dream], what happens?

do you wake up when you hit?  while still in the air?  are you miraculously saved by something?

  awfully paranoid, arent you?

Scruff indeed. I have recurring dreams of me against many vampires or zombies or just punk ass kids and its a thrillfest of adrenaline.

I had a very lucid one maaaany years back where my brother and I were in an Aladdin type town, stealing fruit and climbing shit. Nothings funmer than knowing you're in a world where anything is possible and you're in complete control. Flying, crouching tiger matrix type neo skills son.

I had to google it. And don't use google questions or yahoo answers for it since those are just people giving what they think is true. Google Questions and Yahoo answers has many things showing that that Valium is derived from Valerian root BUT if you go to WebMD or MayoClinic or actual pharmacology university sites, you will find that there is no relation and the name Valium is just a trademark name (for marketing purposes) of the chemical diazepam. The name works for marketing because of the long association of Valerian with sedation but it has no chemical resemblance and is not a derivative of it.

Sorry for the fact check.
