despite kids being allowed to trick or treat in Montreal this year nobody rang my door not a single ring normally I get like close to 100 kids this year not a single one and I have 2 boxes of full sized snicker bars   

We grew up in a shack. A literal hunting shack in the woods. Long story short, we didn't get many trick or treaters. None, actually. 

I remember one Halloween night in the shack. There was a knock at the door, and my parents answered it. Like three kids, one in a super traditional black witch costume. My dad was simultaneously elated/annoyed/confused. So he got up and (not having any sweets on hand due to never getting trick or treaters) gave all three of them a bunch of quarters. They were confused but elated, just like him.

been watching Jeopardy with my mom for over 20 years even during the corona lockdowns we would watch it together on the phone

I knew it was coming that's why I dropped $50 on the Funko pop chase a few weeks back and gifted it to my mom who was diagnosed with bladder cancer a few weeks prior

but don't worry she had surgery last week and she is cancer free apparently if you get cancer bladder cancer is the one to get because it's an easy fix.

anyways it won't be the same watching Jeopardy without Alex Trebek and it will be interesting to see who they get to take his place.

Very happy about your mom's recovery, dude! My mom kept getting pieces of her removed due to aggressive cancer in her shoulders and breasts. Finally I had to go with her to this doctor very far away to be a second set of ears to help her make the decision to get the double mastectomy. She had them removed and has been cancer free for like fucking near a decade. . I remember I had worked 5 pm to about 3 am cleaning buildings and drove her there in my work clothes. Was so tired. The hospital gave me two free meal vouchers. 

Alex Trebek is the man. Rest in peace.

started a podcast last month, so been working on that. it's eating up a lot of my free time.

Wish I had more motivation to paint miniatures and get shit done, I'm trying to not buy any more miniatures until everything is finished but yeh, good luck with that one, me.

also bought my girlfriend some lingerie without telling her; she was complaining that she didn't have anything sexy, so I went ahead and ordered some stuff. Hoping she likes them all.

I'm heading into work. Had to take a day off yesterday. Been insane lately with new shit going on. Finally feel like myself again. Was getting heart palpitations and hadn't experienced them in like 8 years.

Ive been doing the same though, similar. I want to keep the machine running while I work on the last part but I get drawn into standing there staring while its cutting. Some of it is you have to make sure it doesn't wreck itself, some is just fascination of watching things come from from a spinning tool. I have the Yum Yum ive yet to finish, I started cutting a two layered riddle box, I have a Puerto Rican flag for a buddy at work, and I already have requests and quotes for my next 6-10 pieces. 

About the lingerie... Pics or it didn't happen. Lol

I think our ps4 was our best investment. We stream the hell out of movies and TV series. I have a few games that keep me occupied when she's out to work. What you getting us this year for our birthdays Mr. Moneybags? 

Also this is my most recent project. A lot of sanding, painting, and gluing.
