The only cocaine I like is free cocaine. Such a brief high, though. I haven't encountered any that got me frozen n zooted in many years. I do it maybe twice a year or less. The last time was no fun at all. I did it all night and my homie and his friend kept saying how great it was. I didn't have even a moment of enjoyment. It was just nerve-wracking and this girl wouldn't stop talking over everyone. I tried to drink and dab the edginess away but it just seemed to make things worse. But it was all free, so my dumb was kept doing it. Had one of those nightmarish all nighter-turned-sweaty-afternoon episodes. So I guess it's not even worth it when it's free. I finally just told my homie I was done. He kept offering but I said nah. Adderall and Ritalin are far more fun to me. Despite all 3 of them giving me The Shrivels.

I miss snow. When it actually does drop here in these Colorado plains, it's powdery shit snow, barely enough for a snowball, let alone a snowman. Here's one we made last winter, like the only time the elements meshed well enough to make one:

That is indeed an alien thought to me as well. One of my biggest youth memories is playing in the mountains of snow during the blizzard of '93. We made goddamn caverns out of the drifts. Shoveling the porch was a huge undertaking back then... When you finally finish shoveling then when you return to your starting point, there is already another inch or so of snow accumulated. Sledding down some endless country hill road when it was closed off, that was the shit.

Today is the day for wrapping Xmas gifts. I am one of the worst giftwrappers of my time, but I am happy to say that today I'm making them much more presentable than usual. It's also my youngest's 4th birthday today. Ate some pizza and am chilling.
