Rehab is great.  

I vowed long ago to never dumb myself down for anyone. So of course that pissed off many because the more I understood people and the world around me, The more I was able to see through their BULLSHIT.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Texans are willfully ignorant so much as, completely fucking brainwashed by religion and nationalism. Not all of them mind you, but enough to be annoying. On the plus side, most seem to get along fine with any religious differences never really coming up.
My experiences in Texas were along the lines of, A catholic, a mormon, a muslim, a baptist, an atheist, and anyone else who showed up, buy a bag of weed, then they smoke it and talk about movies, comics, crack jokes, talk about life and dreams.

Not much of a punchline, just the way shit was. 

There are hundreds of Somalian and Kenyan refugees in my area of Colorado. And many are regulars at my dispensary. Whether they are practicing Muslims or Christian converts or Neo Pagans, I dont know. But I'm sayin. 

Chillin on my couch, bored as fuck. Making a strong push to save $. Bout to turn 30 and feelin like I ain't done shit with my life. Tryin to get a new place come May.

People paths are weird.

My homie was living with us for a couple years. We all worked and paid bills. Him, my wife, my mom, myself and two girls. Then his dad died and he inherited $130,000. He blew it all within a year and is in jail now. He was last charged trying to steal a farmer's anhydrous tank to make meth or something. He was also arrested for eating something in a 7-11, then slapping the worker who told him to stop.

This kid I grew up with contacted me on Facebook a couple years back, when I still had that program. He asked me what I was doing, and I told him that I worked in a weed dispensary. His brain panicked and he passive aggressively said "oh, you unfortunate loser!" by saying something like "okay, okay, its gonna be okay.. I've got a good crew in Denver... they will help you get started.." He does some kind of work for the government or something. All I know is that he gets to travel a lot and gets good money, I have no idea what shit he actually does. All I know is that this is the same tiny boy that I went to school with. I'm so happy nowadays, who the fuck is he to judge what I do? I help people. I help my family. I'm good at what I do.....

Could go on all day. Point is, sometimes I get a bit disheartened when I would see someone I grew up with "making it".... I have friends that kept up with their art skills unlike me who worked shit jobs instead of staying in practice... I have a friend that makes music for Joe Budden... people having good money, good healthcare, etc. But they are human, too. They have regrets. They are sometimes unhappy. They may have a small dick. Or a drug addiction. Or a mean girlfriend. An STD. Makes me feel pretty damned lucky. I'm aware that people envy me, despite me feeling unfulfilled at times. It's all relative.

Stretching out my left gauge because I did a few consecutive really dumbass moves and the hole shrunk.

I always sleep with my plugs in(dumbass move numero uno) and one of my rings fell out. I only have the one pair I really like that I can actually wear - my others are all either screw-on backs which I hate or single flare but I've lost ALL of my rubber O-rings for them over the years and never replaced them. I lost one of my only pair of double flare 00 gauges and it fucking sucks.

So. because of this I just left my ear empty for a bit(dumbass move two) while I searched my bedroom for the ring. like...clearly it has to be around somewhere, right? Well, I never found it. still haven't, in fact. So the hole started to shrink and tighten up.

Because of this I grabbed my taper and went to stretch the hole out so it'd still be at a 00 when my new plugs come that I ordered...aaaand I fuckin' tear my ear a bit and it starts bleeding. Couldn't wear anything in it while it healed and it went down like 3 sizes from a 00 to a 4.

Only lotus shows i been to are the 1st one, hatchet rizing tour (still my #1 non special event/gathering show), and the opaque brotherhood tour. Glad i was at the 1st one, sad i missed the rest. Chances are ive seen you, but yeah, maybe not "met" you lol. You should come out this saturday, if there are tickets left. It might be sold out actually, either way if you show up i can get you in (dont tell nobody or i will get them red dots)  

Opaque Brotherhood was the one I went to. It was nice being fucked up with friends and swaying as confetti rained (IIRC) while the room is filled with " Mass Murder makes me happy! Dead bodies make me happy!" everyone singing along just enjoying it.
