I got into the Peaky Blinders tv series and couldnt make out all the words so i started watching it with the subtitles. For some reason i havent shut them off. Ive been watching television with closed captioning on for probably about a year. Its funny to see how many of the programmers use the word 'whoops' when talking about people cheering. Makes me smile a little on the inside each time.
Got my machine going last night, having a small issue with the PC that im using. I swithed to an equally old and beat up laptop also with issues. Getting there but not getting there at the same time. Today is quality time with the Mrs cause tomorrow is back to work. I dont want to adult anymore.
Yeah bitches, im that short gentleman mentioned in that youtube video.
And the very nice, level headed guy from that other youtube video.

The wife and I have been using subtitles forever. It's a way to power over background noises like kids and such. Also, you can read things you may not have heard otherwise.. like on "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" man, there is some funny dialogue that can be unearthed. It's also funny when the subtitles are different than what is actually said. Lastly, it is good reading practice for kids.

Resetting reinstalls Windows 10, but lets you choose whether to keep your files or remove them, and then reinstalls Windows. You can reset your PC from Settings, the sign-in screen, or by using a recovery drive or installation media.

Finished up Stranger Things - Season 3. I thought it was good. Completely cracked out story that makes little to no sense but absolutely entertaining.
There were a few goofy little flubs that I noticed:
- The evil Russians are trying to open the portal to the upside down. Why?
- Hop sprays down a group of uniformed Russian guards with an AK, and the 3 people on Team Bald Eagle slip into the uniforms of the dead guys which magically don't have bloody bullet holes in them after this happens.
- One of the characters is forced to sing a song from Never Ending Story which delays opening the safe with the keys to the kill switch for about 2 minutes. They're about to (in under ten seconds from when they cut to this scene) blow up the lab when knock-off Terminator shows up and delays long enough that Billy has to confront the Mind Flayer hand-to-hand and it doesn't go well. So two characters die as a result of this brief unnecessary delay. Bonus points to Hop for getting a haircut by a nuclear powered turbine engine and dying from something else.

One I noticed:
How did Dustin know about the way to sneak into the theater through scoops ahoy? He had left for camp before Steve had gotten the job, and hadn't talked to any of the other kids about it when he came back.
Also, there was a Strange Thing pop-up Event in Hongdae (a district in Seoul) that I was able to check out last weekend. Will post photos in the Photo album.

2-Dustin was only gone a month the mini mall was open before he left and he was close with Steve so if Steve was giving the other kids free entrance to movies he would have given it to Dustin too
3-Dustin had to sing the song or Phoebe Cates would not have given him the code to save the day and they would all be dead
4-why did they have to kill off Alexi Smirnoff?? He was my new favorite character

I'm not saying Steve would not have let Dustin use the entrance.
I'm saying Dustin didn't know about it yet.
Although, Steve could have mentioned it off-camera when they first met up. I just know that Dustin had never had a chance to use it before.
I agree with the Alexei part. He was a good one.

1. Yea, there's a dot on his chest matching one in his back. It should have had a lot of them and been soaked.
2. Robin asks Steve "how many children do you know?" indicating that she had never seen the two of them interact even though they were always scheduled together.
3. No shit, lol. That's not the point.
4. My new favorite character, too. "That guy right there...he's a child murderer!" as he sits there and happily sips a slurpee.
