personally I don't want to live to be old
let me die at 60-65 and I will be good my grandmother needs almost 24/7 care at 90 and my mom just turned 68 and is getting there too.
Its easy to care of them for now because my grandmother lives 2 blocks away and my mom lives downstairs from me and my sister lives downstairs from her in a triplex but my grandmother and mother need a lot of help they are at the point they can't go out on their own so it's up to me to get their groceries,prescriptions and bring them to all their hospital appointments .
my niece who lives with me because she does not get along with her mother at the moment helps a lot with my mom but does not help at all with my grandmother because me and my sister are half siblings and my niece is not related to my grandmother.
my grandmother also has cancer at 90 and needs to visit oncology every Monday and I bring her there by taxi because it's cheaper by taxi than by car because health care might be free in Canada but parking at the hospital is not.
my grandmother is also going blind and once a month I gotta bring her to legit get a needle into her eyeball, I cringe and look away but she takes it like a champ.
anyways im just rambling but I do not want to have to depend on people when I get older I just wanna live a good life and die a good death before I become a burden on anyone.

The Mrs has been doing home health care for many years. Some of the stories she comes home with are terrible. Id like to go before any of the terrible shit happens to me. Pissing and shitting all over the place, needing help with eating, cant remember anything, catheters and colostomy bags, fuck all that noise. I aint getting that old, i refuse.

Old age is a bitch, I used to watch my gramps before he passed at 88. He was blind from diabetes and had Alzheimer's, so he'd legit always be like "Hito, turn on the light". He refused to believe he was blind til he died. My dad used to tell me "If I ever get like that just OD me with the best drugs you can"

I'm kinda worried right now. I'll spare the details for the moment but I'm the senior employee at my job, and we have a very unintelligent Christian girl who is the store manager. She has tried a few times to convert people at my job or at least get them attending her church. She forms what I call "The Cult" . The new hired guy who I hate i overheard discussing fellowships and churches with her today. I feel like we are being overrun. More details will help but I'm busy at the moment. Any one have any similar stories of being bombarded by Christian's at their workplace?

Fuck this kid that used to work with me who said everyone in New York is a piece of shit. He has not ever been to Ny or even near it, by the way, but he is some ignorant entitled kid from Kansas who worked at our dispensary for a bit. I couldnt believe it when he said it. I started thinking about all of the people leaping out of the World Trade Center windows. All the firemen. The planes crashing all over. The insanity. My brother who enlisted to fight and eventually died for it as a Lieutenant in the National Guard.
Listen, I'm no nationalist. I hate government and every administration that has came through since I've been alive. But the soldiers mostly signed up because they thought it was the right thing to do. Lots of soldiers (including my brother) were far from perfect. But to have some early twenties Post Malone-looking spoiled brat say those words just has stuck with me for over a year.
Today is the day Americans pretend to empathize with New York and it's people. Tomorrow you will go back to hating on it. A place that most who diss it have never been. I grew up there, so I'm allowed to voice my disdain about it. But I still love it.

I have a 24oz during the week, something around 8% alc Wednesday or Thursday and at least 24oz on the weekend. The Mrs isnt a fan of the drunk guy i get to be.
