So basically you've lived a privileged life out of the luck of being born into a family that owns property and never really had to stress about real life problems. That actually explains a lot.
Sometimes I wonder if you just play a stereotype because you treat trolling like a wrestling gimmick.

Well, yeah, problems face everybody how ever not having to worry about rent is a huge weight off the shoulders. I guess I didn't factor in anything else I assumed you got at least a fairly good check from it. Or maybe it doesn't go to you. IDK. But being broke and living rent free also sucks.

Yeah, but how much of it is genuine I don't got. Could all be rooted in something genuine but blown to larger than life proportions.

Yeah technically you are still renting the land from the city/state/country but atleast you don't have to worry about landlords and the issues and problems they catapult into your life
True. If you fail to pay property taxes, the government will take your property so you never really own it. You are still technically renting.

That's another factor I always think of. No one really "owns" anything.
I'm learning lately how most countries have "right to walk" type laws. It is not unusual in most parts of Europe, for instance, to see people wandering around near your property. The entire mind set is different due to this. Less people shot, less theft, less paranoia-led unfortunateness. Sort of like how Canadians mostly leave their doors unlocked. The people that do trespass usually just swipe their 12 packs and go.
Other countries ENCOURAGE you to explore. USA instills the mentality of "MINE MINE!!". The irony is lost on most. Truth is we dont own anything. We own only ourselves, and even that is arguable.

that's a myth I do not know nobody that leaves their doors unlocked atleast not in a big city like Montreal maybe in small towns where everybody knows everybody but you would be stupid for not locking your door in Montreal.
my sister has gotten atleast 5 amazon packages stolen in the past year alone because amazon just leaves the package at the front door.

Story time!
38 years ago my mother had a son, me. A year and a half later she had a little girl, my sister.
At 16ish my little sister had her first baby.
At 17-18 that baby had a baby. Which was last night.
Two weekends ago i had to go to a baby shower and all the late 30's people were grandparents.
Its all way crazy to think about. My mother is a great grandma before 60, my sister is a grandma before 40.
So yeah, today i get to hang out with pre 40yr old grandparents and a brand spanking new baby.
Edit: The Mrs had a hair appointment, her niece had a girl scout thing, and your boy wasnt sitting around and waiting for something to happen.
Thats right all, beer thirty came a little after noon. Which i feel is 100% acceptable on a day off. 8%alc, sitting at the waters edge, with a fishing pole in my hand. This is the life!
Dont know entirely how im feeling at the moment, it is somewhere between this
This...
And this...

Dude, that 'ugh' towards the end is phenomenal, very soulful and heart felt. You can tell there is emotion behind it.
This is a pretty decent cover, worth a look.

Thinking about rhyming some words, putting em to a beat, and play around a bit. Any suggestions/recommendations for a first timer just pissing off? There any worthwhile threads to look into to get some ideas? How do you get decent vocals on the cheap/free? Any cool apps i could look into?
Gonna = finna

Tbh I don't know much about mics for rap. In metal the best mic for its price is easily the SM57, you can use it for guitar and vocals, and it's easily been on more albums than any other mic. But I've heard it's not as good for speaking or clean singing as it is for shouting or screaming.
It is really cheap tho, so, no harm.
Unfortunately a lot of mic's that are good for rap I've come across were a bit pricey. Maybe Lucem or Warlock will know about a cost effective mic.
You could also go the classic slightly distorted with overly high gain for that raw esham like sound, and it won't matter what the fuck you use.
In addition, if you want to fuck around with effects and recording without paying anything, either pirate Reaper like I did, or, the legal method, the program Audacity is functional, not great, but it works and it's free, and you can find all kinds of free effects, just to fuck around with them. Which is pretty fun.
As for tips, decide the delivery you're going for, even if you can't do it yet, decide what it'll be and work at that. Even if you don't intend on doing it that much, at some level try and envision a sound and try and get there.
Record yourself practicing and listen back to see what you want to change.
For rap especially, it can be hard to tell if you're actually sounding like what you think you're sounding like.
If you want some practice exercise (which it doesn't sound like you want that much, but, might as well throw it out there)
Here's a great exercise, not that taxing, you don't have to do it that much, just a little thing to do:
When you're finding your sound, make a list of the artists and songs that are like them, see if you can find beats from some of those songs, rap along with those songs, and after you're confident enough, rap along with them over just the beat. Then, if you wanna go the extra step, make your own lyrics to the song, and rap those over the beat, record it, and listen back to it, does it sound like what you want? No? Keep at it.
I'm not saying you have to be my try hard ass and rap every second of every day. But it's just a nice exercise.
And for the memes, here's some tips about rhyming:
When going quickly, abuse words like everybody. Shit with a lot of vowels make you sound stupid fast.
Try to avoid rhyming cliches because they make you sound amateurish
Like, if you rhyme knowledge with college, it's like, come on man, that's kindergarden level.
Other examples are like rhyming Booth with Truth, it's fucking overdone. Or glock with block.
Just try and mentally note things that are overdone and avoid those.
Anyways, back to just fucking around for fun, just generally find some beats that you find easy to rap over (at least at first), for some people a simple loop is easy, for others they get lost in a simple loop and they need something more dynamic, if you're not killing it on one beat, or find yourself lost, don't just give up, keep looking for what works for you. Find BPMs that work for you, etc.
And ALWAYS REMEMBER that notes fucking exist, some people seem to forget that notes still apply to them and will just rap on the same note the entire time, or just erratic notes with zero logic. I'm not saying you have to learn scales or some shit, shit tons of rappers don't even bother, just remember that notes are being heard.
But the NUMBER ONE THING TO REMEMBER
Is to rap with deliberation, if you lack confidence, if you don't give it your all, if you don't go all out, you'll sound weak.
If you're gonna fail, fail with all your energy behind you.
I always remember that scene in Straight Out of Compton when Easy-E is first trying to rap and he's not even on beat at first, but then he gets it, that's real shit, that was him not deliberating at first, but then going all out and it just clicking.
I've talked way to long, so feel free to ignore as much as this as you want, but I thought I'd just put it out there.

I wanna say its been talked about before. Im pretty positive ive read about someone sitting in the closet rapping into their phone to record their voice. Ill piss around with different things and see what i can come up with.
What got me thinking is, i have lines in my head that i feel need to be out into the world. Mind you some of them are just stupid funny that if done right it could be really fun to listen to.
Ill see what i can do without having to buy anything.
Again thank you.
