Actually, I don't agree with the association of Lucifer and Satan. It was Pope Gregory the First that made that association from his own personal interpretation of Isaiah 14:12. A translation from Hebrew to Latin changed "Hillel, Son of the Dawn"(Hillel Ben-Shahar) to "Lucifer, the Morning Star". Note: Those are triple translations, Hebrew (unpointed) to Latin to English (For King James) and the Latin to English rarely referred back to original Hebrew. Personally, I think the passage was referring to the Assyrian King and not to any angelic figure, but once the Pope says something - it becomes "truth" to many Christians. Another point of note is that the Morning Star is referenced several more times in Revelations but in these references it is associated with Jesus, not Lucifer or Satan. Translations of Satan derive from the terms that mean "The Opposer" so I am not sure how Pope Gregory came to the conclusion that "Light Bearer"(Lucifer) = "The Opposer"(Satan).

I do understand that the above is only one interpretation/translation. I've seen many that are very different. Satan, Saturn, accuser, advesary, opposer, etc. 

Anyways, point being, it was actually a bad assumption on my part (taking from common Christian associations). Satanism is actually different than Luciferianism.

If I remember right the bible has called Jesus Lucifer once. Just makes me think the interpretations of the bible are wrong. The connection is because the bible described Satan as an angel of light.

But yeah, my name is a reference to Lucifer and it's more so an appreciation or fandom of a fictional character kind of like Jamie Madrox being named after an X-Men character. I don't follow any Satanic religion. Especially not Satanism because Howard is a plagiarist and a con man. I'm an atheist so that rules out Luciferianism and I don't believe in magick even, though it's interesting, so I'm not a Thelemite. Crowley did have some brilliance hidden inside the mystic jargon, though.

I figured the conclusion was based on me always using occult and Satanic imagery.

No, Kanye isn't a generic fast food. He's much more creative and tends to reinvent himself every album. There is no rapper that can move into his spot especially since his impact on the genre is so huge that it's hard to imagine what it would be with out him.

I heard there was an interpretation from the Bible where Jesus actually was on a plain old stick rather than a cross. Somewhere the translation got fucked I guess. 

Guess if you wanna fully understand the Bible you gotta learn Hebrew then read the original scriptures.

Had my first citrus hoppy IPA last weekend, was amazing after having 2 Miller Lites, bought a 6 pack last night and it didnt have the same effect.

Beautiful architecture, lots of history, eerie feelings. 

Well, i have a 3 day weekend. Our anniversary is tomorrow and i took a vacation day to spend with the Mrs. Unfortunately she is working tonight. However its giving me time to do a little more work on a project that i didnt start soon enough. An idea usually leads me to more ideas which is a bad thing cause nothing is ever fully done. Things that i think i have finished in the house become tomorrows new to do list after a little mor time to think.

So this is where im standing with my current project. At least the important part is finished, i think.
