So Cheech Marin himself was set to appear at my favorite liquor store today, for a 2 hour meet and greet to promote his new tequila. It was to be from 4 pm to 6pm, and I was to get off of work at 4 pm. I was walking around like a little Michael Jackson fanboy for weeks, hyping myself up. For background, I have been a humongous fan of the duo since I was like 12. Besides the obvious weed connection, I admire the way they structure scenes that have so much going on in them at once.

Anyway, on my lunch break, i googled the event and of course it was cancelled. I called the liquor store and they said Mr. Marin had injured himself and wouldn't be back for 4 or 5 months. 

Needless to say, I was sad. But if there were ever a first world problem, this would be it.

moral of the story is hallucinogens are bad and anybody that does them and keeps on doing them will end up fucked up for life
