Big Mix cereal. I barely remember it from my childhood, it sold for about a year, but it was my favorite cereal ever, like a clusterfuck of granola, oats & stuff. I've hoped for years that Kelloggs will bring it back, but it'll probably suck like most cereals do now. So really, I miss when cereal didn't suck! The cookies in Cookie Crisp used to be the size of a nickel! lol
And Saturday morning cartoons, there ain't shit on now, but one episode of Justice League that comes on before I even get up. Even then it's usually an episode with Hawk & Dove or some other shitty characters.
Okay, so really, I guess I miss not being an adult.

@piggofdoom , I think it has to do with the way I look at "time". The past is not real. It isn't even there. The only reality is the present. I have never been able to touch an object that is not in the present. The present responds to action, the past does not. No amount of wishing will change the events or objects that people relate to in the past. But I can act on anything I want in the present.
Do I wish I could experience something in my past? Not really. But... I do work towards things in the present based on what I think I seemed to experience in the past. Kind of like the Gathering. I go because of my "past" memories of them tell me that I will have a good time when I am there again.
Yes, I may sometimes slip into past thinking, but I try to make a conscious effort to completely let go of the past and focus only on the present. Many years of doing that have led me to think very little of the past.

I miss mostly people/animals ive lost...things can be replaced, but the memories of times past are what haunt me. I really miss my Homie Morgan...he died way too young and all of us will always feel like we let him down.
I was going to keep mentioning people but bringing his back up was a bit too real...Ill leave it there.

but I miss my dog Samson :( he was a HUGE 170 pound English Mastiff the same dog from the sandlot movie, had him close to 9 years he got so old he went grey and his hips were fucked and I had to put him under because he could no longer walk, I never in my life ever cried so much just thinking about it makes my eyes water.
All the threads you touch derail its only fitting yours does. I miss my old Dogs Popeye and Alice...and My cat Bombay...he was the shit he was like a dog in cats clothes...

i find that i dont really miss people.
its not that i dont care they are gone, but after ive finished my mourning period, i just accept that they are gone and move on. i still care for who they are, but let the dead rest.
just me though.
i never really ahd any pets i could call my own before ym 2 dogs i got now. all the dogs i had growing up and living with people when i was fresh out of highschool all felt like other peoples pets. my 2 boys now though, i have a strong bond with both of them.

what i do miss is the rush of finding new music. living in aus it was always so hard to get your hands on anything underground. so when i picked up my first copy of kkkill the fetus, carnival of carnage, mostasteless, season of da siccness it was an incredible feeling.
now i just buy everything digitally or download it.
umm living alone sometimes i suppose. it gets irratating after a few weeks though, too much times in my own thoughts is dangerous.
