It is pretty mainstream when you can buy the merch at any mall with a Hot Topic or a Spencer's.
And because of controversy on the news and internet, most people in America over 12 and under like, 60, are going to have some idea what you're talking about or what a related logo is. I mean, who hasn't seen a hatchet man or Joker's Card sticker on the freeway?
And ICP themselves have been making constant appearances on shows that a lot of people watch.
If the culture isn't mainstream already and does become mainstream in the future, I don't think that's a bad thing either. It is what it is. Have no fear, embrace it. Or, you can leave it if it isn't to your liking.

I'd say the business and music itself is definitely part of the mainstream culture now. Our culture itself though, spawned largely because there was a hole that mainstream culture wasn't filling for a lot of us. The very existence of our culture relies on the fact that not everybody could be into this shit.
If our culture ever 'went' mainstream, then I would see this as a good thing. This just means that there are more and more people looking for something different than the cookie cutter shit being fed to the masses. More people with open minds. I don't know if that can singularly be blamed on the music though. That's kind of like a culture wide problem, and it spans a lot deeper than modern youth. I'm the yougest person I work with and I'm way more open to criticism and advice than any of my coworkers ages 21-65. Of course I might just be dealing with "you're not even twenty who do you think you are knowing more about shit than me" bias.
