I often start getting excited and dreaming if what I’ll do if I win the 50k prize while scratching off my lotto tickets. I’d pay my car loan off, put factory new EVERYTHING in my car, get a new body for it, pay off my car loan and other debts, make sure I save enough to give my family a kick ass christmas, set aside enough money for a ballin gathering next year, and after that I’d pretty much just squander what I had left on more than likely cd’s and merch.

There’s a Louis ck bit about broke ass moths fuckas dreaming about what they’d do with money. I’d put half in a college fund for my daughter. The other half I’d use as needed. Don’t have any debts and there is nothing I really want. Maybe diversify my bonds :)

50K doesn’t really excite me, it’s nice to win but I couldn’t retire off it or anything. Plus, you only get 70% of the 50K when you go to claim it, works that way in Massachusetts at least. Want some advice my friend? Start buying $20 scratch tickets, the payoffs are much better and slightly better odds in your favor of winning. Good luck.

that excitement is what youre really paying for when you buy lotto tickets. the only reason they have payouts at all is to appear honest.
i do occasionally buy a lotto ticket, if ive got money to burn. i dont expect to win, but i recognize that i cant possibly win without a ticket, and some chance is better than no chance.
dont know what id do with 50 grand if i did win it. spend it on dumb shit, i suppose. like pat said, its not gonna set me up for life, so id still have to work and shit.
with some smart money management, that could be turned into a nice nest egg, but im much more likely to party it away, nickel and diming it until its gone. thats more or less what ive done with every other windfall ive had, and i dont feel bad about it.

This is funny, because that’s the amount of money I always think “If I just had that…this could happen and I’d be straight”. My wife is hopefully going to start going to school for nursing. I’ve broken it down to where if we just had that much, then over the next 2 to 2-1/2 years, she wouldn’t have to work and could concentrate on school. I know that’s boring as fuck, but I’m a grown-up now, so that’s the shit I think about.

50k would just be a start for me, Hell just to buy my dream ride I need 150k. I really don’t know what id do, Maybe just put it in a credit union and let it accrue interest for 10 years. Or just take the 50k and invest in fixing up and customizing my truck. I don’t think id be stupid enough to buy 50k worth of drugs that’s just stupid to me.

Most of them have been sorted out after the new patch was released. There’s still a few glitches but didn’t really stop me and my brother having a laugh on there earlier. :3
