I've seen lots of purple since I been here... Purple Kush, Purple Trainwreck, Bio Chem, Afgooey... nothing, I mean NOTHING will ever compare to the Charlie Murphy.
It was named that because it was so violet that it was one shade on the color wheel from obsidian. Tasted like blackberries. A shame that Charlie probably never even knew he had his own Darkness strain.
The growers are currently out of business. They had the best terps and flavor ever.

Not a huge fan of rotten fruit taste, i consider a purp strain mediocre good weed. Put something in front of me that taste like blueberries or fruity pebbles, and you bet imma be geekin. Always did prefer the kush or skunk taste, diesel is good too, but taste too chemically. Orange or lemon rank lower than a grape strain to me tho.
Wow spot on with the green crack...when you said that i had an instant flashback of the session, and i was extremely chatty, but i was extremely excited to finally have smoked it after like 8 years of looking for it.

I like the purps with that deep blackberry flavor, like that infamous Charlie Murphy. Tangerine Haze is one I toke all the time because it's like a clementine rind.

Tried one of Willie Nelson's Reserve Sun Grown joints tonight. Classic Skywalker OG indica. Split it with the wife.
Also breaking in my new Lime Sherbert Pax Pod by The Lab. 90% THC. Not as limey sour as I had hoped but its smooth enough.
