It's been legal across all of Canada since last October 17th so just about a year

before that police would rarely care if you were caught with weed they had better things to do

but now that it's legal police care where you bought it so if it ain't in a SQCD jar you might get in shit

What is the alcohol culture like over there? I know that lots of countries are into drinking during business meetings and such. My old pal used to go to China for those and couldnt even keep with up their drinking asses. And this dude drinks every night. 

My homie just was in Seoul last week, I forgot because I wanted to try and puppet master a meeting between you and his family lol... it would've been so damned cool. He had a great time, did lots of sightseeing. His wife is from there.

The main spirit here is called "soju". It's weaker than most liquor, like 17-20% ABV. BUT they sell it at the convenience store for around a buck and a half a bottle. And people will drink bottle after bottle, even during the work week. One of my co-workers is an older woman and she told me she drank 8 bottles in a night before.

 

 

Also, you can geet 4 tallboys for 10,000 won ($8.42) at the convenience store. Including some pretty nice imports. Korean beer (usually Cass) is pretty shitty.

 

You can drink in public, too. Often people will just sit at a table outside the 7/11 and get turnt. Especially old dudes. Or I'll see them passed out on the picnic tables while I'm walking to work.

 

I'm actually supposed to go drinking with my coworker after school today. Gonna keep it low key though because I don't wanna be hungover in front of a class of kids.
