Yep. I’m on it. For some reason, nothing seems to show up in the error logs. I just got a string of those errors in the last few minutes. That error, when I google it in reference to word press and simple press, says it is a generic error and to check the error logs. But there’s nothing there.
I’ll keep digging.

Received quite a few server and 404 errors today. Also, I received an error while trying to post a reply which caused the reply to post, but the overall thread’s time stamp did not change (still said last post was from a previous date and poster even though I had the latest post in the thread).

OK guys, here’s an update. I went ahead and paid a freelance guy to look into the connectivity / 404 errors. He said it was a problem with our theme, and that he thinks it has been resolved now. Can you PLEASE let me know if you run into any of the Internal Server errors, 404s, or any other quirky issues? If you do have them, please post screen shots or copy/paste the text here. I appreciate everyone’s patience in trying to get this resolved. I just haven’t had a lot of free time lately to sink into it. Thanks again!

Apparently he’s not done cleaning up files yet. So i will let you know when we can actually start testing. He’s aware that they are still popping up.

@scottied , Cool. I was about to start working on disabling plugins one by one this weekend but I will hold off. Don’t want too many chefs in the kitchen on this one.

Yeah, let’s wait on that @psyral-infection. I was just getting the connection errors far too often for my liking, so i decided to go ahead and move forward with getting it fixed. If this works, it looks like plugins weren’t the issue in the first place.

on the whole, better, but low traffic might be reinforcing that.

Since when? When I posted the ICP jersey story, we had like 500 people on constantly for a few hours. I didn’t see any errors and I was in constant refresh mode. Was it in the past few hours? If you can make note of times that they happen when you come across the errors, that will help a ton. Thanks @scruffy!

Yeah, I just got one too when clicking to read this post. I was getting them every day too, but hadn’t since after hiring this guy to find out what the problem was. I’ll report the findings to him though.

Thanks guys. Definitely valuable feedback. We’ll get to the root of this.
And no, I don’t think it’s the caching plugin because I installed WP Super Cache in response to this issue . I have since disabled it anyways.
